It seems you have to go to a different map after editing the terrain texture set. Then go back to the original. However, it's kinda bugged where if you close it and open it again IT WILL COMPLETELY replace the replaced texture. So for this reason I recommend only using it for WTEs or pictures.
Side note: chronologically, my second post was supposed to follow my first as the picture one.
@TaintedWisp:
Not necessarily. It's happened several times where I can use the new textures without having to change in the Map Textures button.
Seems I have to do this by accident or something. It's worked in two maps. The first one was deleted because it was connected to a bugged mod. The second one I'm working on now.
Meh, seems like my editor likes f-ing with me. It worked because I had 9 textures going at a time, but now that I opened the map again, some textures are randomly appearing everywhere. So ignore this thread until I get it fixed.
It's actually possible. Finish using the first eight textures, then data edit the texture set your working with and replace some. Then go back and use those new textures without eradicating the replaced ones. Then you can technically have all the textures in a single map. Will post a pic soon.

@ScrinKing: Go
Wait, with or without glitches?

I should be able to post a picture soon.
