It's possible that once an editor publishes to battle.net, there will be an encrypted part of the file that display their name as the original author of the map no matter how many times it gets re-used. This would solve both problems, as long as no one tries to hack that part of it just to take credit for a map people will obviously see was published earlier than theirs with the same functionality.
There's a way to make it uneditable by deleting actual lines of code in the map file, but i believe the full version will allow creators to claim full credit for their maps by the blizzard "store" for them.
