Finally, after all this time toying with ST1, WC2, WC3 and ST2 editor, I'm finally making my own first map. I will be long to finish, my finger will bleed many time and my patience will run short every moment I try to work my way through an editor that is not in my mother language...
Consider everything here as a WIP, everything can (and probably will) change...

CONCEPT
This map is a 7-12 minute long minigame with 2 rematch every game. It will last approximately last 30 minutes and will feature a 8 player gameplay batteling in 4 different arena with different environement. Each player will start with one changeling that will feed on fresh meat and grow and grow bigger until it can swallow up enemies or push them in lava (which can either kill or badly hurt). One major thing about this game is BLOOD !!! You will see more clevered flesh in one match than in a zillion zergling game...
There will be 15 unlockable active ability (everybody will start with only one) and 8 passive (these number are estimated for release). Each game, player will choose between 3 active ability and one passive to equip itself, making every game different in function of chosen tools-of-the-trade.
I want to make the gameplay rich and always changing with people unlocking skillz as they play more and more. Some of them will be really hard to unlock, I will give some example later in this post.
The unique feature in this map is the experience system. You don't have life, you only have experience. Experience is impacted by mob kill, skill use and taking hit. In other term, you will spend experience to attack other player (not mob) and will lose experience on hit. Of course, it will cost less exp to attack than to be attacked and I want to make a REALLY agressive gameplay out of this. There is a lot of other stuff around that feature to make it playable, I will make sure the exp sources are plenty so it can actually work.
One of them will be auto pick items that will be represented as piece of meat. every time you kill some mob, there is a chance they drop some for extra exp. Meat will also fall from enemy player when hit, giving exp to whoever eat it. Some skill will even make you harvest it in small AOE. Meat dropped will differ from skill and damage dealth. There will be prolly 10-12 types of different, giving all different exp (small difference) and in some case unlock skillz or other stuff under certain condition. For example, the skill Ribs Cage Prison will be unlocked if you pickup moar than 15 "short ribs" meat piece in one match. There will be, of course, the legendary "One Piece of Meat" to be found...
The only way to kill an opponent is pushing them in lava or eating them. In this game there is 12 level. You start at level 3 and can grow up 3 time every 3 levels. if you have a skill that feature and "eating" propriety, you will be able to OS a player 2 time smaller than you, brutally killing him. If a player is level 3 or smaller, pushing him into lava will terminate him instead of just making him lose exp.
How can you win? By eliminating all enemies or survive until the end of the match with the most exp. Staying alive make you a winner anyway... There will be countless ways to be brutally killed...
Some example of skillz
Here I will display 6 basic key ability, one the will be a passive
Nasty Bite : You're lucky mother nature game you some teets, even tho the putrefaction of your mouth make one of them fall in each bite you take...
-Short range, single target, medium damage
-Charges : 42
-Can Kill player (8 level smaller), attack only player
-Unlockable : When the 42 teets are gone, you learn the "Tootles Vacuuming Mouth" skill
-Unlockable : when you kill a player with this skill, you learn the "Glomp" skill
NB : this skill is the "Starter" skill of every new player. Using it completely will make you start unlock more and more related skillz. It is crucial that it has the potential to kill a target since new player wont have anything else.
Vacuuming Mouth : Now that all your teets are gone, you really look stupid when you try to eat peanut butter with a spoon. Never the less, you learned how to vacuum the shit out of everything in your sight, never a cockroach will feel safe again.
-Short distance, 2Rad AOE, small damage
-Endless charges
-Can't kill player, attack player and mob
-Can target meat
NB : This skill is a good exp harvester since it will make you eat mob, meat on the ground and left by dead mob and meat left by player being hit.
Puke : Told ya you shouldn't have eaten that "expire in 29 / 06 / 1988" can of corned beef... If you have to puke, make sure you ruin somebody else jacket.
-Short Distance, 1Rad AOE, high damage, continuous and fixed range, last 6 seconds
-Endless charge
-Can't kill player, attack player and mob
-Leave meat on the ground
-Unlocked by eating moar than 15 piece of meat in less than 6 seconds
NB : Key skill of them game, it will be pretty powerful and totally gross :D. Huge damage dealer if you micro well.
Glomp : Your ferocious need of food is limitless, you don't even hesitate to take a bite in your friend arm...
-Short range, single target, no damage
-Only Kill player (6 level smaller)
-Heal yourself
-Make you sleep for X seconds
NB : Main skill for PK
Acid Nasal Shot : That what happen when you have the duty to take care of the infinite kids of the Queen of the swarm... Now your nose is dripping like hell, better make good use of it!!
-Long range, continuous damage, 2Rad AOE, med damage
-Can't kill player, attack player and mob
-Leave "Rancid" meat on the ground
-Unlockable : If you get hit 8 time by this skill in one match, you learn the "Acid Pores" passive skill
NB : Long range skill of the game, rancid make player lose exp instead of giving the exp.
Acid Pores : Nothing is more pleasant than a sulfuric acid bath these days...
-Passive
-Leave a train of acid behind you
-Acid Nasal Shot attack damage are reduced by 50%
-You have a chance of leaving on the ground rancid meat piece on hit.
