Main with expo situated behind the main on a raised cliff, One Natural Exp, 1 Regular Exp, 1 Protected Exp, and a Gold Exp
Features 4 Xel'Naga Watch Towers Situated at the North, South, East, and West atop cliffs
Destructible Rocks Block Easy Paths to Expansions and Xel'Naga Watch Towers
Cliff Walking or some kind of air drop is needed to reach 2 of the Xel'Naga Towers
So this is my second Melee Map going to release and I am looking for feedback from the community on how to make it play better for 1v1 or FFA (not concerned with 2v2 to be honest). I decided to look through all the blizzard maps, and some of the maps on the current ICCUP map rotation and this is what I ended coming up with.
There is a natural situated behind the main base making for easily defendable expansions. Naturals are easy to secure once you break the rocks that block the cliffs. Cliff mobility will be key in this map especially if you are in diagonal positioning. Line of sight grass is around the Xel'Naga making it easier for an attentive player to micro units away or to the Xel'Naga without being seen by an opponent. Line of sight grass is also around each entrance to long corridors that run along the middle of the map. Careful dont get caught in these with your pants down the results will be brutal. Xel'Naga Towers can be used to see the gold expo and any activity that may be happening there. The Gold Expansions are very vulnerable to attack so they are a risky bet to take.
Overall I am looking for feedback on how to make the gameplay better. I would like to add more trees but i do not want it to hinder any gameplay around cliffs etc please let me no what you think about this. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS MAP AND ANY FEEDBACK IS GREATLY APPRECIATED
