As of the new patch, it appears that the prices for custom towers and upgrades are acting very weird.
Now there is one Cost bar on the Unit tab, and there's another cost bar on the build and upgrade ability. I can't get them to set the actual price I want, they end up with either ridiculously large ammount of cost, or a negative value.
Anyone with any ideas that might aid me? :o
The standard blizzard seems to have adopted is setting the cost on the unit to what you want it to cost and set the cost to 0 in the build ability, thats what I have done with all my units and it seems to be working fine. If you put cost in both fields they will be added together.
Still doesn't work for me :-/
The above part is the ability's cost values
Under that is the Unit's cost value
And the corner thingy is the cost ingame.
The cost of a morph ability is the difference between the cost of the post unit and the cost of the pre unit, modified by the Technology Cost of the ability.
It's not a bug but it works very differently than it did before.

@Zarakk: Go
The Ability you are using is it a Morph or a Build, or something else?
If it is a Morph the solution might be to flag Ignore Unit Cost in the ability Stats - Flags, then set the cost in the ability.
