I'd like to know how to recreate the lava rising/falling in "the devils playground". I cheeked it in the editor, and basically when the lava rises it sets the water to template 1, alternate setting 2. I was wondering how exactly do you set up those settings? Thanks!
edit- of course..duh its in the data editor. lol..But now, how to you tell the map wich water set to use?
As in, you're wanting to place the water on the map, right? If so, go to the terrain pallet and click the water drop, then the lower buttons click the water drop which should open up a choice of water tiles to use. You can even set the base height of the water as well. Ignore this reply if I'm wrong.
I know how to place water and lava. I want it to be like the lava from "the devils playground" where it rises and lowers every so often. I checked out the campagin map bliz made so..yeah.... And LagKillsMaps I'd love to see the tutorial as soon as its done, thanks!
EDIT- I FIGURED IT OUT! ok cool...I didnt realize, when you created a new water type, it appeared in the water list in the terrain editor. Wow...
EDIT EDIT- new problem, When I try to add a new state for the water, nothing happens. =[
EDIT EDIT EDIT- oh jeez..Ill wait for the tutorial...lol
