how does the backup setting work i know you can save to an area then it saves to a another folder every time i save does it create a new auto-backup or does it update the last auto-backup?
You can specify a maximum number of backups per file. So if you set this to 5, it will continue creating new backups until 5 backups are present, then it will replace the oldest one.
Also you can set a minimum amount of time to wait before creating a new backup (so if you save 3 times in a row, you won't override your last 3 backups)
Didnt even know there was a backup feature- I just copy the file myself. Either way, have more than 1 backup. Also if it auto-backs up your map it could back up a screwed up version of it. Just back it up yourself whenever you reach a major milestone in the map
