I am messing with cameras to make a good TPS view. How do you make the camera right over the units shoulder. I can make it a bit farther out but I really want it pretty close up. The thing is, in order for me to make the TPS view triggers the yellow circle at the end of the camera has to be right on top of the unit in order for the camera to pan properly. Can anyone help?
I as well need to answer to this.
Been trying for the last 5 hours playing with data editor, trigger editor and now a combo.
No luck so far.
The only thing I can figure out that may work is to create a second unseen unit at the desired spot over the shoulder. And have the camera follow it
(PS really small unit)
Problems with this
1. unit placement is on a grid pattern that wont allow detailed placement.
2. because of first problem I'm going to try to use an invisible doodad and have the camera follow it. (haven't tried this one yet)
Thanks for the link but that I already have set up.
With the camera follow system it centers the character in the middle of the screen. But with my TPS I need my camera to be set to the top right of the character. Or for my character to be set to the left of my camera.
In the attachment you can see my TPS please ignore the arrows
(using the TPS Engine)
