Ok lets say that I have a passive ability that leeches life with every attack that you can learn and there is four levels to it(on a hero) now I want it so the second you learn it, it applies to your hero and you don't have to do anything. I haven't got that working yet, but I am wondering how to make it so once you learn the ability the button on command card 1(learn button is on command card 2) becomes un click-able like detector is. I tried making it so the button on command card 1 is passive like detector but you can only link it to 1 behavior not 4 like i need and also i doubt it would auto update to level 2 cause its not linked to anything but that one behavior. Any help would be great please and thanks.
If I'm understanding you right, the easiest way to do this would be to put a "Show" requirement for the button that evaluates to true only when the ability is not learned, and put the passive button behind the learning button.
I'm trying to get this to work also, so if I want to have a passive ability with 4 different levels I would have to put all 4 of the buttons with the different levels on top of one another and just give them a requirement to only show at certain times? I don't quite understand the requirements show
Basically you tell it to require the upgrade to be complete to show it. That said, I don't really understand that much about requirements yet, so experiment for yourself.
Attached a screen shot that gives a rough idea on what to do, just put in your upgrade instead of the zerg one and if you want it to disappear when the next level is researched you add Not - Count Upgrade "your level 2 upgrade" completed to the level 1 show requirement.
Hopefully I'm making some sense.
