i been up almost all night, messing around with the editor. i got the triggers to work how i want them to for the most part. Now i am stuck on the part where i want it to cycle.
What i did is i made it so that a SCV can spawn a unit by going into it's region.
After that the SCV dies and unit spawns.
But when i want is only when all the units that spawned die, the scv re spawns. i am having so much trouble with this step. any one have any suggestion? i am heading towards the right direction?
what keeps happening is four scv re spawn as soon as the one scv dies, so as soon as my four scv get used 16 spawn. :/
This might be a silly response, and I may have misunderstood what you exactly mean, but if you don't want 4 SCVs to spawn, then change the number of spawned units from 4?
I do want four to spawn. i maybe bad at explaining.
i have four scv that start. You take each one and move them to a unit and it spawns those units. That is all fine. in the picture i put it is immortals. After those spawned immortals die i want those four scv to re spawn, so that you can use them again. But i only want them to re spawn when the immortals die.
What happens now is they instantly re spawn instead of waiting for those units to die.
Your missing Condtions, so if a certain unit dies then it will do the action. You just now say if any unit die, spawn 4 scv. You need a and condition, so you put all 4 immortals in the and conditions so after all of them die. Then the will respawn 4 scv.
That or add a new trigger that acts like a counter.
Event: any unit dies
Condition: Unit owned by player 1 (or whatever player you want)
Action: Counter = counter + 1 ( make a global Variable called counter)

Posting your actual triggers goes a long way in helping us figure out what you're trying to do and where the problem is.

Then another trigger thats like
Event: counter = 4 Action: spawn 4 SCVs, counter = 0
The "Unit in region matching condition" is one of the most helpful comparison conditions I've seen,
ok i had to go to work earlier sorry for late response. I tried this and i can seem to get the unit group part to work.
the results i keep getting are either the SCV spawns like crazy. or nothing happens at all.
