Ive seen some gaems were units are holding weapons they they do not normally have, how can i get a zealot for example to hold a marine assault rifle? Or would i have to modify the zealot model in 3ds max or something to show the zealot with the assault rifle?
Looking in the starcraft model viewer thing i see attachment poitns on the hands but dont know how to attach a model to them, if that is in fact how you do it.
There is an attachment tutorial but I believe making a zealot look convincingly you would need to make some 3D modelling since zealot does not have any shooting animation.
