Hey every, I'm brand new to this forum so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question but I want to be able to upgrade a Terran unit via the Protoss Forge. I've already changed the unit type to Protoss but I really just don't know how to make the unit upgrade when I research Protoss ground armor. Any help is appreciated!

Changing that isn't so simple. What you need to do is to change the upgrades themselves, adding those units and what the upgrade does to them. The race doesn't really matter.
