Keep in mind this scenery is only for a defense map so I'm trying not to go into major detail but i was kind of neutral on these giant rocks in the 3d and 4th pic i kind of like them, but is it realistic enough? maybe more of them? I'm not sure. I'm trying to go for a rain forest look, the first picture is the only area that is complete by the way. Any input is appreciated.
>.< the reasoning for the straight unnatural organic cliffs is because its a random defense map I'm just adding some environment for eye candy. thx for the input though :D
You can make the cliffs more natural and use giant rock to fill the gaps between the cliffs. The result you will get is still straight line but natural and pretty looking.
Ah, i see, i think i want to keep the shape of my border mostly because there are parts of my map that don't allow enough space to do that. But i will mess around with it to see if i can get it to look good. I never really thought about that thx for the feedback.
Thank you disas7ro and xShaelis for the feedback I've been waiting to get input before i add more, Ill try to find something different for the lake on the other side. good idea disas.

You have made straight unnatural organic cliffs - that is the problem.
P.S. The rocks are okay.

You mean kind of like this? Its time consuming but it looks good, so its probably worth it.
More likely this. It looks a little bit more interesting and more natural, and if you need you can still make it to be straight line.

The best way to make a defense map interesting is variaty. Different styles in different areas - symmetric is boring.
I would implement it one of the areas with enough room, and think up different things for the rest :)

They look fine, imho.
