I am currently modifying the Ursidon's leap ability so that it will be terminated when it hits a wall (or gets within a certain range of it). However, I cannot figure out a way to terminate the launch missile effect when this happens.
I think it may be able to be done by using a redirect missile effect. However, if this was done (I'm not sure how completely), the impact effects would still occur (the ursadon stun).
Basically, when the object comes into range, I want the ursadon to go back directly to the ground and nothing else.
You would have to change all impact effect actors to use the effect on missile impact and not the launch missile effect. The redirect could be done using the periodic effect of the launch missile effect targeting the source and redirecting to directly under the unit or use a create persistent effect to specify some other point. How do you plan on defining walls and structures?

Right now I only have 2 structures that can be considered a "wall".
Everything you said makes sense, however, how would I make the effect that redirects the target to directly under the unit?
