Well, I created a projectile in the data editor (unit, actor, and effects) but it doesn't show up in the unit palette. Any ideas about what I did wrong? Thanks in advance!
It doesn't show up in the unit palette? Well, it shouldn't, its a projectile after all. It is not meant to be placeable on the map from the unit palette.
Maybe I misunderstood the question, could you say exactly what you want to do with this projectile and when it is not where you want it to be?
Well, if I recall correctly, this was a unit flag, which is pre-set when the unit is based on the projectile, but you can change it manually. This way you can place it in the editor.
However most likely the mover will just malfunction in this case, because it does not have valid launch and impact points/ attachments etc.
I tried this with carrier intercepors once; their movement did malfunction as well, when I placed them without a carrier (they are flagged to not be placeable also)

I was hoping to be able to test out the projectile's custom mover without having to set up any launch effects. No big deal though.
