I've copied a siege tank unit in the data editor and everything works smoothly, the problem is that the button to switch into siege mode and the button to switch back to tank mode both have a resource requirement. To switch into siege mode gives the player 360 minerals and to switch back costs 210 minerals and gives the player 125 vespane. These values are extremely random.
I just want them to not cost anything at all.
I have modified the ability in one part. I made them not require the tech upgrade to use the ability.
I put down a regular siege tank next to it, and it works fine.
I tried removing the siege and unsiege copies i made and recopying them and reapplying them to the command card and its still the same.
I also just tried setting the tank mode copy to cost nothing to make, as the siege one is already 0.
now siegeing doesn't cost anything but unsiegeing costs -150 minerals and -125 vespane.
I fixed it by setting the cost of the original siege tank in siege mode and in tank mode to 0.
I have a feeling something is linked wrong, but I don't know where.
The Morph ability automatically costs the difference between the unit costs unless certain flags are checked or the ability itself costs a compensating factor.
