Hello. I added a persistant effect beam to a custom unit i created. The beam is similar to the void ray beam, and it works fine. Only problem im having is that the beam wont stop channeling even if it kills the targeted unit. I even added a validator for beam in range and target unit not dead, but it still wont stop. Why?
Tell the unit to move away until out of range. Else get a downstream effect to use a model created each time the effect is used that lasts for a short time. If the model keeps appearing it seems your ability is still targeting the point.

I noticed the problem was on the model, not the ability per se. I was using wrong model. It was supposed to be Persistent FX model.

How would i know if the unit is already dead? No idea to be honest.
