Hey, i've been working on a TPS for awhile now and went to play it online with friends for testing. What happens is if you die you respawn at the class selection point but everytime this happens your max framerate drops by a certain percentage, eventually you will be running at 5 FPS no matter what you do. I am just curious what the hell could be causing this as ive never had this problem on any of my other TPS maps EVER.
Are you testing in singleplayer? Dont worry, its the same for me in this case. Especially if you test in window mode and have the trigger debugger enabled, you got horrible lags.
Try to publish the map private and test it online, for me all of those lags vanished magically.

Use the trigger debugger's built in profiler.

What is this 'class selection point' made up of? Possibly portraits and dialogs that aren't properly cleared up after wards perhaps?
