I'm using an always open inventory on my hero, but I cant seem to pick up or receive items into my inventory at all.
Is there any way I can keep my inventory open all the time and still be able to pick items up or receive them? Been searching for answers for hours, halp...
do your inventories have containers, or are they just placeholders?
I may be mistaken but you probably need a container for each of your "open inventory" slots so that the items can be contained (ie picked up)
Wouldn't that undo the open inventory though? Not sure what you mean by placeholders... they dont have anything besides a class associated with them.
Edit: Tried adding the same container for all 6 of the slots, doesn't seem to work. When I buy an item from the shop it just ends up spawning on the ground instead of in my inventory.
I have looked at that tutorial. And Bifuu's WC3 inventory emulation tut on mapster. I'm pretty sure my problem lies in the fact that I cant pick up the item. I added containers and still had the issue...

Try looking at this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=C4B519253E8BDB1A maybe you will find what you have done differently.
