So I'm trying to make a item that when you pick it up and equip it will change the model and tint color (Actor) of the unit you equip it to. (In my case it is changing the zealot prisoner model to the regular zealot model while the unit stays the same.) But so far items seem to only effect behaviors. Does anyone know how I could do this?
You can add a behavior, then make the unit actor react to this behavior with your desired changes by using actor events. Try to add following events to the unit actor:
Behavior.MyItemBehavior.On
ModelSwap MyDesiredModel
Behavior.MyItemBehavior.On
SetTintColor MyDesiredTint
If the item is droppable, you might need additional events to revert the changes.
