I want to create an ability that makes units rotate(Like the earth around itself).
So there is a way to do that? I mean, I found that Hybrid Maar ability that make target unit balance(That was the most close I could get).
So, can you guys help me??
As in only visually rotate or as in the whole unit turns?
If you mean get a unit to orbit another, that is easy, you just need two forces are right angles. Have a Switch effect that uses variable Apply Force effects pulling the unit towards the desired center (this compensates if you want the center to move). You then have another Apply Force effect pushing the unit to the side.
Only way I can think would be to set the move speed to near 0 but still have a turn speed and then use a circular Create Persistent use an Issue Order effect to turn it. The Turn Before Moving flag under the Units data type is also a must.
Also why must the whole unit rotate and not just the model?
Well, I wanted rotate the units when they attacked by some ability as a behavior. Something temporary. That's why I wanted rotate the whole unit.
But if I could rotate only the model, would be nice too. I just don't know how to set that either.(I was looking the other threads and couldn't get that understanding).
Use the SOp (Forward Vector) method. In short you have a hidden Unit actor with and attached Model actor that looks like the unit and has all the events usually reserved for the Unit actor. You then create a rightangle of two hidden marine Model actor attachments origin to overhead with the unit actor being in the middle of the half square. Finally give the visual Model actor a SOp (Forward Vector) that points to the overhead of the second marine. Now your unit will always face the head of the marine and by adjusting the scale of the marines with Set Scale event actions you can get your unit model to spin. Using this method you can also make inanimate models move.

Probably an easier way to rotate a unit model would be to attach it to a rotating model. You can also use the GAx3 mod, which provides inherit support for rotating an actor via trigger function.

I mean to make a unit rotate in its own axis. (Sorry don't know the better way to explain).
Only way I can think would be to set the move speed to near 0 but still have a turn speed and then use a circular Create Persistent use an Issue Order effect to turn it. The Turn Before Moving flag under the Units data type is also a must.

It could be applied in any unit, using behavior?? Still, I could not set this in editor. Hard to me to understand that...(ashamed).

Wow! Amazing !!
Working fine... Now the needed adjustments to make my own system.
Thank you guys!!!
