I managed to add shrike turrets to bunkers via upgrade. After the upgrade has completed in game, the turret appears on top of the bunkers and does rotate.
But for some reason the turret does not shoot when an enemy is in attack range - and I can't figure out why.
Unfortunately, I haven't found any solution about this specific problem in the Forum.

I solved my Problem by adding abilities\neutral\attack\attack to the abilities of the bunker unit.
There are at least two other ways to activate shrike turrets. Using data and behaviors or give the upgrade by triggers.
The shrike turret animating is linked to the default weapon they use, you need to play around with events to fix it.
