How do I make my mothership shoot more than 2 lasers ?

I want my mother ship to shoot 26 lasers separately and be able to see 26 lasers shooting 26 different units.
DETAILS...
Mothership has 6 attacks with 6 damage. But in fact in the editor it says there are first and secondary laser.
And first shoots 3 / secondary shoots 3. That's why mothership only shoots 2 lasers although it says attacks 6.
So I wanted 26 lasers. So I put 13 on first laser and 13 on secondary. What I got was a thicker version of mothership
laser that slowly decreased number of hit points like void rays.
QUESTION.2
I want my carrier to have 16 interceptors. How do I change this ?
1) 26 fully random lasers? Have the weapon linked to a Create Persistent executing 26 effects with a period of 0.0. Have the Create Persistent call a Search Area, define search filters, set TSRandom as sort method, set Maximum Count of 1. Then have the search call a launch missile linked to the proper impact effects and relevant actors. There are other ways to do that, such as just one Search Area returning up to a Maximum Count of 26 if you don't want 2 lasers to be able to pick the same target.
2) Update the carrier's relevant Requirement that checks for count of interceptors being <8 to allow building more.
Hey thanks for answering but I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm new to this editor and this editor is like the most complicated software I've ever seen in my whole life.
I'm new so I don't even know how to give abilities to other units.
I need some detail step to step how to do.
I was looking through "Data" -> "Units" -> "Mothership" -> "Effects" -> "Mothership Beam (Persistent)"
I don't see anything like TSrandom or filters.
I do see "Period Count". It's set to 13 because I wanted 13 laser for this first beam.
