    @gorang: Go

All you have to do is change the abilities arch. For odin nuke it has no arc so your going to have to change it Just go to "ability - arc" and change it to 360 and your set. It makes it so you can use the ability without the unit actually looking at its target

    Scrap Wars

    Scrap Wars

    Outline

Two enemy scrapping companies face off in a battle for domination over the local territory. In order the the companies to wage war with one another they must find ways to "salvage" up resources for war...

The objective of Scrap Wars is to destroy the enemy scrappers command center before they destroy yours. There are no gathers. The only way to get resources is to destroy enemy units, capture salvaging points or killing robotic critters. You can only have a maximum of 20 units on the battle field at one time so use them wisely. Corporate sends advanced ally marines periodically that travel down the middle of the map towards the enemies command center.

How do you get resources? Minerals and gas are acquired by either last hitting enemy units or completing salvage jobs. A small amount is given out periodically. But the best way to collect minerals and gas is to capture salvaging jobs. What are salvage jobs and how do they work? Salvage jobs are available at a certain areas of the map periodically. In order to capture a salvage job you must hold the location for 30 seconds. Similar to that of Headquarters, or King of the Hill from various other genre of games. Once you capture a point the salvaged metal scraps are immediately sent back to your base to be broken down. When the scraps get there a laser drill will begin to break it down. But there is a catch An enemy scrapper can come into your base and steal your scrap from right under your nose if left unguarded.

What are resources for? To buy units, unit upgrades, ultimates, and construct buildings.

    What Units are there?

    • Marines - Basic Ranged Unit
    • Medic - Healer Unit
    • Reapers - Fast Ranged Unit -
    • Marauders - Ranged Tank Unit
    • Vaulters - Scouting Unit - Can not directly attack but can drop land mines that reveal a small area and blow up on nearby enemies
    • Hellions - Fast Ranged Unit - Good vs Biological
    • Blimp - Work as revelers to show large area and invisible units

    Structures?

    • Command Center - Produces SCV that can be used to build sensor towers, and bunkers
    • Barracks - Build Infantry Unites
    • Factory - Builds Robotics
    • Engineering Bay - Upgrades for all units

20 Max units. What if i want to change my unit composition without feeding the enemy minerals/gas? You can salvage your own units for a small refund by sending them into the salvaging pit at your home base.

What if i have expensive amounts of minerals/gas? Minerals and Gas can be also used to purchase the use of an ultimate ability.

    What are the ultimate abilities?

    • Nuke- Nukes an arena of the map dealing damage to all units in its area
    • Laser Drill - The same drill that is sitting at your base salvaging can be used to attack a single structure doing mass amounts of damage. More to come in later versions
    Map Layout

layout Terran is in its early stages

    • Lime Green - Salvage Point spawns (First point isnt labeled but its directly in the middle of the map)
    • Blue - Players training structures
    • Purple - Salvaging points
    • Red - Corporate reinforcement spawns
    • Light Blue - Areas where robotic creatures tend to spawn

    Game Playout

    - The first salvage point spawns in directly at the middle of the map. Player typically send some units there to attack the point. But because you start out with resources and not units the first initial fight is usually an interesting one.

    - After the first couple of points the game become very micro intensive with multiple battles happening across the map

    - Early game is very micro intensive requiring players to push the middle lane while scouting for robotic critter as well as capturing points.

    - Because there is a unit limit players must keep track of the enemies units and play accordingly.

    - If someone wants to commit to a single task such as pushing lane it leaves the enemy player to take advantage of salvaging jobs and robotic critters. But because there is a unit limit it forces player to occasionally commit to such activities in order for a player to win the game.

It is a very difficult map to play. When I started this project i wanted to make a game that could be played competitively and require the basic skills of Starcraft just in a different wrapper.

Because this map is in its early stages there are still some balancing and mechanics to tweek to get them perfect for release. That being said, I am looking for North American players to help me test out the map in the near future. Send me a PM if interested or if you just have any question at all.
