Introduction
This project is series of standard 1v1 Blizzard maps adapted to include a sophisticated build order testing system. The goal is to execute the chosen build while keeping up worker production and creating the largest army possible. The AI will execute a given build order or execute a random one. At the end of the round, you are given a score which tells how well you executed the build. Also included is a "Freestyle" mode, which monitors your play and displays the build order that you performed.
After playing a freestyle, you can open your bank (save) file at My Documents/Starcraft II/Banks/YabotSettings.SC2Bank in a text editor to see the encoded build as a single line of text. This text can then be decoded and edited at sc2builds.com

Azcordelia Apr 14, 2013 at 15:17 UTC - 0 likesOh, okay. I will make a notebook of StarCraft. I have quite a bit of Zerg builds i have found and want to learn. Also, a bunch of notes to write down, so it won't be much harder to include the builds. Thanks for replying. Also, i believe i have found that small build order tester, so i'll bookmark it, and that'll be that. I'm teaching myself programming and am also starting digital art classes this fall, maybe someday i can create a build order tool/tester that others would like too. Anyways, Thanks.

Sorry Azcor but the old website is gone and the new just has the same address but nothing else in common, like the collaboration with YABOT. Also YABOT is not maintenanced anymore. I would recommend to just write down your builds on paper. I - as a huge fan of YABOT once - came to realize that the paper variant is probably more effective for the learning process ;) Just use the small build order tester which provide just a quick restart of a game ;)

Azcordelia Apr 13, 2013 at 11:16 UTC - 0 likesHi, I'm new to Starcraft 2, and was very excited when i found this arcade map, but i can't figure out how to get encoded builds from the "current" website? (SC2Builds.com) I seen a video of the old one, but it's not like that anymore, i don't see a way to import the build in any way. Secondly, my Bank file is missing, and i don't know how to get a copy in order to add builds to play in the map. So, if you could upload a file for me to put in my banks folder, that would be awesome. And, if someone could verify that the new site doesn't let you grab encoded text or explain to me how to get it, that would be even better. Thanks. :)

Siljias Dec 05, 2012 at 21:21 UTC - 1 likeOK THIS IS ALL I WANT! ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO SET THE INTERVALS AT WHICH THE YABOT RUNS FOR ( THEY WERE 30 SECOND INTERVALS )! THAT IS IT! THAT IS THE ONLY FEATURE I WANT BACK!I DONT CARE IF IT IS THROUGH BNET OR NOT, JUST WANT MY 30 SECOND INTERVALS!!!! KTHNKSBYE
p.s. It does not even have to be on multiple maps. If just one of the Arcade maps had this feature, that would solve my problems. The utility of being able to perfect 30 second chunks of a build was what made YABOT so damn useful imo. It let me EASILY ( I tried doing 30 second interval saves, it is a PAIN in the ass to constantly re-load and re-save those files on top of the fact that the UI for that particular function is poor from Blizzards side ) knit-pick at my build until I was satisfied with its perfection. The current version ties you down to 10 or 20 minute intervals, 200/200 supply, or build done. This makes it much harder to identify where I can optimize my builds. So there is my schpeel. Otherwise I will have to make due with the current version D:

Kellidan66 Sep 21, 2012 at 10:48 UTC - 0 likesHey all,
I recenty try to add some new BO on YABOT but i met an issue with the bank folder. I have no bank folder in my documents/starcraft2. I just have a bank folder in "accounts" but this is for multiplayer and i cant add new BO on multiplayer Yabot. I tried to open Yabot's Maps with the editor, but there is a problem with a script. So i think this is why i dont have the bank folder...
So, how can i play news BO on Yabot ? Is there someone with the same problem ?
Thank you, and hope you can help me.
