What is Click Wars Tournament II?

Click Wars Tournament is a base defense type map, you earn income every 30 seconds which can be spent on units that attack your enemies bases. There are multiple game modes which will change the map setup and gameplay type. The unique part of this map compared to other maps though is that instead of setting up towers (there are towers aswell as a secondary defense, however this is not your primary method of defending your base) is using your mouse as a weapon.

New Features & Comparison

Click Wars Tournament II has many new features that the old version did not contain, ranging from UI improvements to new units. These new units and UI improvements will make the game easier to play, however the game will remain at a competitive level and remain fast paced.

New Features

  • Improved Vendor UI - The vendor will be easier to use, have more convenient hotkeys, and have more units for sale.
  • 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, Free Modes - These modes will allow the game to be played in different settings. You can either rely on yourself, or work as a team to be the victor. The free mode contains everything and acts as a sandbox mode for players to get a feel for new units and upgrades/weapons. It is strictly a practice mode, and you will not be given rewards for playing in this game mode.
  • New unit classes - Each unit has a special class which improves them or makes them have special advantages. New classes will be annotated in the classes section with a asterisk.
  • Abilities - You can unlock new abilities by playing competitively and gaining rank. Abilities are not offensive, however they will provide a "stopping power" allowing you to slow down units in their paths. Varying from a forcefield, vortex, and many more abilities.
  • Many new weapons - The old weapons setup was very bland, however eye-candy, this will be improved. New weapons will be annotated with an asterisk.

Weapons

  • Gauss Rifle - Single target click, deals damage to the target unit.
  • Improved Gauss Rifle - Single target click, deals more damage to a target unit than the regular Gauss Rifle.
  • Punisher Grenade [New] - Single target click, deals more damage than the Improved Gauss rifle, and slows down units with an AOE effect. Slowed units display a dazed effect over their heads. This slow effect lasts 6 seconds until refreshed.
  • Flamethrower - Single target click, deals damage to a target unit, and adds a damage over time effect to the unit dealing significant damage.
  • Siege Tank [New] - Siege Tank explosion missle, deals moderate AoE damage, deals no effects to enemies.
  • Mini Yamato [New] - The lesser version of the Yamato cannon, deals a large amount of AoE damage in a smaller radius.
  • Parasite Pistol [New] - Single target click, infects the unit with parasites, stacks up to 10 times. Units killed by the Parasite Pistol will release parasites that will attack nearby enemy units. The infection acts as a damage over time effect, and the parasites deal small damage.
  • Void Ray Beam [New] - Single target click, deals major damage to enemies in a line. Enemies must be touched by the beam to take damage, there is no limit to how many enemies can be affected by this attack
  • Psi Storm - Single target click, casts a Psi Storm at the target enemies location, dealing major AoE damage for 3 seconds.
  • Yamato Cannon - Single target click, deals a large amount of damage in a large radius.
  • Icy Void Ray Beam [New] - Single target click, deals moderate damage to enemies in a line, slowing all units touched by the beam significantly for 6 seconds.
  • Nydus Destroyer [New] - Single target click, 10 second cooldown. A nydus worm is summoned at the target unit's position, swarming the enemy mobs nearby with swarms of moderate damage dealing Zerglings. Powerful attack when executed properly.
