The Valkyrie first appeared in the Koprulu sector as part of the United Earth Directorate pacification force at the beginning of the Brood War. Equipped with H.A.L.O. cluster rockets, valkyries are ideal for ship-to-ship combat. Though they largely fell out of use by the Second Great War, their design was used as the basis for the Liberator.
