StarCraft 2: Redux
StarCraft 2: Redux is an alternate retelling of the StarCraft 2 trilogy story. Consisting of three, 12 mission, campaigns beginning with Redux: Heart of the Swarm. Familiar characters - Sara Kerrigan, Zeratul and James Raynor - are launched onto new trajectories that send them toward dire consequences and unexpected futures!
Oh no, with a Greater Spire, Mutalisks can morph into Guardians or Devourers.
My personal head cannon is that Dark Templars and Void power work like Adepts from Shadowrun.
"Adepts use their magic in a radically different way than other Awakened, by channeling magic through their bodies and minds; they do not cast spells or conjure spirits, nor do they typically have access to astral space. Instead, adepts develop powers that improve their physical and mental abilities."

Hey when I clicked on the launcher it said it wouldn't load the map and kicked me out. What do I do?
Sadly the launcher hasn't been fixed yet. You'll need to open each mission in the editor and test it to play it.
Hi, I am new to this and i think the fix is very simple.
The file names do not match with the trigger in the Launcher.
So you either edit the trigger "Set next map to" to match the filenames
or the other way around, and easiest IMHO, to name the map files to the complete name.
"Zerg01.SC2Map" to "01 - Sudden Strike.SC2Map".
I'd just like to say thank you to everybody that's given feedback so far, I do hope you end up enjoying this campaign and I'm working on having the Protoss campaign ready by February.

I'd like to have the dialogue in the briefing scenes appear instantly for each character, like in Mass Recall, but for some reason the guy I have helping me with programming hasn't been able to do it. But it is something I'd like to fix, I just don't know how.

The ingame music outside of the briefing scenes haven't been fixed yet, right now the same 40 second of music is playing on loop, but I'm hoping to get that fixed this Monday and hopefully the future campaigns won't have that issue when I post them.
For the missing dialogue, check that you have subtitles turned on in the options menu.

The walkway south of the npc base should have a space that will allow your units to pass, using the toxic gas as a visual aid. But I'll check to make sure there isn't a mistake with that.

Have tried missions 1 & 2, and also read your thread on the battle.net forums, really interesting concepts, looking forward to the redux versions of LoTV and WoL to see how you develop this ! :) One small comment for you on Mission 2 - the dialogues on the mission briefing screen seem to be running into each other and not finishing properly at present.
Hey tried the first mission so far, I like the premise, feels more starcraft 1ish, I am having issues with the dialogue and audio both music and sound fx, and I dont see any text when character windows pop up, i was able to go into message log and they were their so I am not sure why its not populating during the game end of the first mission missed the entire exit dialogue, if you have the script so I can see what I missing that would be great I will try some of the solutions in the comments looks good so far.
Hi. I tested first mission.
I did not understand how I can get past toxic cloud that hits the neutral Zerg base at 10:00. Did I play wrong or is this bug?
The enemy did not send any attack waves to me in 12 minutes.

Just let me know which ones and I'll have them fixed and if you notice any other bugs please let me know.
You may want to go over a few of your missions to finesse the tech trees. Several missions won't allow you to evolve Lurker Dens or Greater Spires.
Ok, problem solved ! I just had to change the language of the game from french to english ! (For people who have the same problem : SC2 menu > Option > Language > choose english)
