Note that I don't say "Scion Custom Race", I say "Scion Custom Races". It's what I've called my new mod, which is like an expansion to my Xeyed mod, as my mod now contains not only the Xeyed race, but an additional custom race called Genetron, which is what all these mechanized terran models I've been releasing were created for. In short, Scion is the term I use when referring to my custom races collectively.
So I am guessing this means that they will basically be making the content super public like as a warchest skin or something like that. Soulfincher and hammer had a number of the edited SC2 models he posted here one day inserted as Warchest skins. Most notably the Tal'darim stalker and tal'darim tempests. I've seen this happen to many assets on here and with blizzard going the DLC route, its very likely it will happen with many more models.
It's likely a problem that accompanies the "black texture" bug that my older models have, since at patch 3.0, when blizzard added glazes, all models made by Blender up to that point were broken, and the tools had to get updated. As a consequence, any models that haven't been run through that newer tools since remain with the problem. Maybe I'll do a remaster of the BV P-170 and re-release it in the next few days.

If you plan to update the model BV P-170 as well and make it have glaze, I wonder if you could make it look a bit different from the new BVP-170Ex3 model. (Or keep it as it looks? Just so there is a visual difference between them)
I use BV P-170 as a Fighter aircraft - it is small and has a flame of fire at the back of its tail.
BVP-170Ex3 is used as a Bomber - much larger and has the flame from each side of its wings.
With the updated version, they look more different from each other, which is great! It makes it easier to tell them apart while playing.
The "updated" version/s I made of this model I never really intended to be used in conjunction with the older version/s, but since you seem intent on doing that, I'll go ahead and PM you tomorrow, when I have time, with fixed versions of the older version as well. With the release of the newest version, I wouldn't see a point of re-uploading the old ones to this assets page.
The only thing I can think of is if you use SoP offsets for the launch point of attacks. There are unfortunately no attachment points located on the area/s of the model you're talking about. (fyi, if you look at a model in the cutscene editor, you can press A to enter a mode that displays the locations of attachment points on a model, and then you can also press Shift+D to show a window with information on model data, including names of attachment points)

I am a big fan of your models. It seems like glazes can not be added to the models BV P-170 and BV P-170 V.2.
Is there any way to make glazes work with these models?
