A Silent Scream - Custom Campaign
Intro
A Silent Scream is my first custom campaign. My nickname is IeZaeL , you might know me as the creator of some famous melee maps , such as Coda , that stayed in ladder for over 2 seasons and got played at Blizzcon 2015. Lately I lost passion putting hours of thoughts into a map layout only to find out it will never work, so I started creating a short adventure following the character of Ma'lash, a character that I really liked even though he did not really have a whole lot of story told/to tell. Little is known about Ma'lash past, so I could pretty much insert whatever I wanted into the story. I hope it will be enjoyable to play. It sure was to make.
The story and the Characters
Follow the adventure of the Highlord Ma'lash before the Whispers of Oblivion events. Featuring :
Malash : originally a Daelaam preator, fell in disgrace after the events of the battle of New Dalaran City.
Thrakos : a Tal'darim assassin, he wakes up in a very strange place after a very important confrontation.
Kassidy : a member of the Conclave. Captured by Ma'lash after he escaped from Aiur.
Elyah : Main Engineer of New Dalaran City. Author of the Communication Towers Project.
Abraham Drake : Commander of New Dalaran City army. He had a daughter, Arya Drake, escaped from home and never to be found again.
The Shrouded Hounds mercenaries : a group of rebels that have been trying to overtake the government of New Dalaran City for too long.
Ashara : a female ghost, always ready to gain some money by doing the most various tasks.

Havoc : can use Force Field, double Shield recharge and Chrono Beam.
Ascendant : unchanged from lotv campaign.
Blood Hunter : can use shadow Fury.
Archon : Can use a more powerful Psionic storm, costs 150 energy. Archon starts with 50 energy. Khaydarin Crystal can be researched at Templar Archives to increase archon starting energy to 150.

Warp Prism : unchanged.
Vanguard : Number of shots of the attack halved. Has upgrade called Keras Reactor at the robotic bay to double the shots and allow the unit to hit air units.

Credits
I took a lot of stuff from sc2mapster assets, most notably;
- Tal'darim reskins/portraits for some units by Hammer107
- Terrain for Mission04 was made by DeltaCadimus
- Elders models from Alleyviper85AV Models
- The Ras'Gul model/portrait and the hero UI was extracted from the CybroX campaign "Wrath of the Tal'darim". Go check it out, It's amazing. This page is being currently updated. Come back later to see it completed!

hey thanks for playing. I'm actually kinda surprised you like the first maps so much, because the ones im developing at the moment (06,07,08) are so much more fun and polished. I can clearly see the differences between the first maps and these. I dont take donations sorry, i have a wealthy life and job, so I dont need them :)
Your maps is amazing, epic, or if you prefer in Brazil would speak "Muitooo locooo" Here is my congratulations, keep with the work. Do you have an account for donations?

Ditto on TheElementalHero12's post. Same problem.
Hello I need help with this mod. I have downloaded everything for it. I'm very confused on the mod download from the March 11,2016. Does it have to be included maps as well in the mod folder. I still can't play the mod. I getting to the loading screen and as soon as I play a mission it says the map couldn't be uploaded. What should I do. I had to rename folders as well.
Just played the 1st mission. First off that campaign launcher is a work of art!! First mission was a great first mission. Easy gameplay and loved the combination of units. Also, the cinematics were well done with great angles and immersion. The terrain is mouth-watering!! Music also was a good touch.
I massed a Thor army! It was awesome.
My only critique is maybe have some more background story on the loading screen. I wasn't entirely sure what was going on. Also, why is Malash an archon?
Looking forward to the rest of the campaign!
Hi there ! First of all thanks for the effort in making that campaign .I had the same idea in before and had 2 maps finished but as i saw your project i stopped mine since your maps look visually better then mines :D .
Now id like to mention some bugs and generell feedback: Modelbugs:Warpgates colour is incorrect as they morph into the actual warpgates.Same with the Warpprismns. They first look like normal but once they transform they use the model of the Taldarim.I know you cant fix those or atleast i couldnt ( had the same problems). In the second mission I beg you to please give us a option to mute the custom music ( i like it dont get me wrong),but the volume changes during the campaign and it hurts on my headphones (speakers are fine) In the third mission my HighTempler can use Psistorm ( not sure if its intended but I dont see the button in the ability section down there). Maybe the problem occurs only to since i changed the keybindings to "raster" and "T" is the new attack move and "A" is the Psistorm ability. Also im curious do you like to curse?Because you said fuck quite often.
Question. Is the fourth campagin sort of a flashback to tell us why Malash turned into an archon?Im so looking forward to the campaign beeing finished .Thanks alot for putting that much effort into this custom campaign.
Hi, first: thanks for some realy entertaining scenarios. I've read almost all SC books and your interpretation is very fitting. And now some bug-reports for level 4: I could fire through the firewall with "psionic orb". After saving "04.No Turning Back" during the part after the firewall disapeared, the following happened. On reload, the firewall is opticaly back, but not blocking. The attack-beam of Selendis is striking again. You can misuse this for lots of destruction. I've started the upgrades for aerial units and could repeatedly upgrade the carrier launch speed. Don't know if this might be sensefull if you had carriers. I've used to find out that the full path to the maps should be "c:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II\Maps\ASilentScream\" is there an easier way to find out? Easiest way: you put it in your mapdownload. I don't have much experience with the editor, so it might be that I'm thinking totaly wrong. Still pumped up greetings.
Hi, played mission two. Great terraining as before. The story is getting interesting too. - When the civilians in the intro get attacked by the Terrans, the portrait is missing. - When the Titan dies, the name of the speaker says Mal´ash but shows the portrait of Nova. Other than that I didn't find anything odd.

I found a lot bugs ^^
Mission 04 1. Double T hotkey button 2. Selendis portrait is sometimes missing 3. One portrait is missing for whole campaign. 4. Your "flying" ships over map -...threy are bugged at top border near your nexus point. 5. Then i died so i dont know about more :DD

yup added. Sorry it was late last night and I cmpletely forgot due to being tired.
Just remember to add a 'Special Thanks' paragraph to credit the people you asked/used the models/maps. Credit where's due, y'know.
I especially like the great quality of each maps. Terrains and stuffs were quite realistic. I explored every corners and edges :-)
These campaigns are really great !! Awesome cinematics and battles ! Hope other missions come up soon :-)
A little thing that bothered me is the enemy's are always clumped up it misses some variety/unpredictability but....holy cow this map is insane! A lot of nice little details and planetcracker lol?! So fun i hope we get this beast in future missions.
03 is released.

Thanks for playing. Im actually curious tho , did the Titan fire the missiles with the red mark on the ground? Because you're bound to lose some units due to the randomness of them. What do you mean by scouts? There are no scout units available. Writing will be fixed :) Making the capture the nexuses a secondary objective is a great idea actually. Gonna do it !
mission 2:
the big viking didn't do much, he came suddenly , the hype was real then just rolled over and died fast. he should be hit one base, fight then appear at another one, change form and attack type.
Thanks for playing did you like the titan battle?
