Madness Arena
After 2 years I return to work on my madness map... It's currently called "Explicit Madness" and only playable on the arcade beta. As soon as the arcade goes live I'm going to change its name.
The files associated with this account were intended for the SC2 2010 BETA and are most likely broken if you want to play please do so on the Arcade.
Explicit Madness
This map is a bunker defence map where it pits you against 4 other in a FFA. The AI builds are unique with every match. They counter each others, and your builds. Use your units to counter your opponent, & use your heroes to crush them. This map comes with easy, normal, and hard settings. If you want to know more read the Tips menu ingame.
-Kill your opponents bunkers, or have the most kills when time is up to win. To get units move to the beacons.

Known Issues
-The highscore saves are a bit bugged.
Future Plans
-More Modes I want to add a hero mode where someone play completely differently: Instead of a bunker you get a hero you can upgrade with cool abilities.
-Simplifying the triggers to decrease lag
-Making it look nicer. Other arena games have a fancy start screen, unlockable modes, achievements and other cool stuff. I'm working on those things.
Multiplayer Madness
The same deal with players instead of computers. This is where the game really shines because the computers don't use advanced tactics, but players do!
Hi, i love this map, its like the good old GOLEM on SC broodwar ahhh... memories, but any way, i have discovered a bug if you take one reaper up on the high ground then you blick some stalkers up there you walk them to the edge of the greater units you can blick them up and get like 20 mothership or anything.
I dont think immortals are Op becouse then you just take a Ghost and emp them and Carriers nah they aren't Op either get some stalkers and shoot it down.
Last thing i think Stalkers are Op with there blink and high damge and all.

Carriers feel a little overpowered right now. If you get 2 or 3 of them the interceptors just soak up too much damage, lowering interceptor HP/Shield would help.
Immortals are very powerful units, combined with some sort of air support... 3 of them can overcome the reaper defenses and kill a barracks... the carrier is useless, I'd beef up interceptor creation time and maybe 2 more damage...
I loved this. You should make a multiplayer version too to be able to use with the custom map patcher. Awesome map!
@hijunkie thanks for the report. It should be ok now.
If I move the DT queued across 3 beacons, it produces greater than 50 units... unlimited in fact. Killing all the enemies bunkers doesn't give you the win either...
