Deus Vult
It is the year 1200 and the world is burning. Three Crusades have passed and religious friction between Islam and Christendom as well as the schisms between them torment the peoples. Old empires like Byzantium, Baghdad and Kiev are crumbling beneath emerging and expanding powers like Hungary, the Spanish kingdoms and Denmark.
Inherit one of these great empires of the High Middle Ages and defeat your foes by forging alliances, conquest and warfare.
The map is roughly based on the Diplomacy maps of Starcraft: Broodwar and The Frozen Throne. Some elements are also eluding to Risk and the Original Diplomacy game inside it. Currently there are 21 nations to choose from, special units for (nearly) every fraction of it, 114 conquerable provinces and missions/battletriggers for specific nations to make each nation unique.
