I do all kinds of different kitbashes and retextures.
I am currently struggling with burnout and I am learning to live in some healthy balance. That means I will not release models very often, but sometimes I will make some when I feel like it. So I guess you could consider me semi-retired ? Anyway, I am not doing any requests for the moment, until my mind is healed, which might take a long time. So please do not ask any requests of me, no exceptions (Asking for a fix if model is broken is not a problem). But I still want to do at least some models and share them with you. Hopefully you will find some of them useful :)

I would also love to continue making story maps that would include my own models (But that's probably only a dream now. I have very little time and energy for that).
And last but not least, I'd really love to do more commander concepts with videos, because people seem to love those, of course those would require additional models and lot of them. Original credits go to Activision Blizzard and their respective authors. Most of my stuff is made from their models, textures and voicelines, which means, don't use my assets for any commercial purposes. Otherwise you are free to use my models as you want including edits. Crediting is not necessary as long as you don't claim the model as your own. For edited models, I'd like to be credited as original author.

I am glad you like those. Actually Hammer did a Tal'darim Monolith: https://www.sc2mapster.com/projects/protoss-texture-variations/files/907556. However it is just a recolor an it is missing the death model and so on. However I was thinking that Tal'darim don't necessarily need this as they have their own heavy turret, the one from prologue, so it could make them at least bit more unique. Sure they steal and copy stuff, but some originality here and there doesn't hurt.
The photon cannon shot I could do.
Enoki did forged versions of those, the models don't have the transformation animations ?
Well, not really. Some problems get solved and others occur and some are already long time present.

To tell the truth I don't know, but don't worry.
I remember that Enoki did make the warp stargate and warp robotics facility forged version, although he also made the Taldarim version, but in my opinion those 2 structures only changed their texture color.
Those 2 structures would be good to have in transpositional mode in the Taldarim version.

Hey Dave, just in case you have seen the Golden Age protoss structures from the user Ordinator's Assets, in my opinion it is just what was missing from those structures to be completed with the Golden Age units from the War Chest, you have the portrait of the Executor of Golden Ages, it seems to be missing its icons and wireframes from structures haha :D.

Hi Dave.
I noticed your other icons & wireframes pack project about the nerazim icon packs and they are great :D.
A query; You can also make the Taldarim icon packs, there are some Taldarim units or structures that are missing their red icons for abilities or upgrades.
And maybe it can also be purifier icons like immortal purifier improved or Ihan-rii like Ihan-rii Obelisk Ray (Ihan-rii Void Ray) Improved.

Tal'darim ones already exist in the first pack from Alarak's Conquest. The rest, well I may do it one day, but I have already so much to do that I can probably not fit it into one lifetime :D

I just have to tell you that I want to thank you about the Taldarim Fleet Beacon for its Warp in Red model :).
I have a question, I just noticed the Placement model of the templar archives taldarim of the user "Herdal" and I started to compare the model of the templar archive taldarim, the placement model of Blizzard and Herdal and when I looked at it I noticed exactly that The red placement model of the taldarim templar archive is undoubtedly the default templar archive model. If you can check if what I wrote is correct about the model.

You are right, same with the warp in model. Both are missing the Tal'darim spikes.

I see, and another question, what did you think of the 2 models of "Enoki's Collection"? Forged Warp Stargate V2 and Forged Warp Robotics Facility V2, but it's missing the Tal'darim version.

Yup, I know he did those and I know he is a big Teamcolor fan. I could do versions with static red glow eventually, but it is not high priority at the moment.

Don't worry, maybe one day you'll plan to make those 2 structures I mentioned. ha ha :).
Remember the Talon faction? User "WingedArchon"'s models of those protoss structures are very good, but it was missing its death models and also the units, but it's still cool :D.

Yeah, I think it is because the old plugin for Blender messed up the death models making them unusable. Same is the case with most of my models until I started using the new one.
Hi DaveSpectre.
I must admit that you did a good job on that model of the Council of Death and the placement with its animation, but seeing that username "Herdal".
It reminded me that his Fleet beacon Taldarim structure has its Placement, but no Warp in Red model.
You old project Alarak's Conquest have the Fleet Beacon taldarim warp in red model. If you wouldn't mind if you uploaded that model as well. Thank you.

Hi DaveSpectre, I'm Zhalurad and I'm back.
I looked at your models and I must say that I really liked them, for example the Taldarim explorer, dragon, privateer, etc.
And not only that, the warp units in red are good, but you are missing the observer taldarim with red glow and the icons of it, maybe the Taldarim Stargate it's icon wireframe
There are other options that I can recommend.
For example:
1. The Arbiter Taldarim, I remember that the user called HammerTheTank107 has his taldarim arbiter called tormentor and I wonder if you can create that unit in your style with his death, portrait and his icons.
2. The other option is the observatory and the arbiter tribunal in Taldarim version would be a good option to create those models.
Or perhaps the Taldarim shield battery updated to your style and comparing with Blizzard and yours as shield battery shakuras, one thing the Taldarim shield battery from the LotV campaign does not have a team color.
3. I remember something about the Taldarim structures as the nexus, pylon, etc., the placement and warpin in red, a user created those placement and warp in models in red, but the council of death does not have the placement animation, yes It's not a problem, you can create or update the placements and warp in of the Taldarim structures in red.
Those are my 3 options that you might like, greetings.

Hi, I think there is some wrong translation of those unit names, but I think I know which ones you mean :D
For Observer, the Observer Tal'darim actually has some red bits on the sides, similarly to the blue parts that are present on Aiur Observer, so I think that is enough. Especially since it is a small unit and also cloaked, so any texture is barely visible. Icon of the observer with red TC I could actually make as I am surprised there isn't one made by anyone already. Tal'darim stargate his following icon: Assets\Textures\btn-unit-protoss-alarak-taldarim-stargate.dds, but it is strange that there is no wireframe for it. But overall there are some missing wireframes for Protoss structure skins, I might look into.
1. I don't like his version and I plan to do my own :)
2. I may have a look at the shield battery. I am not interested in the SC1 buildings at the moment.
3. You are right. All of them work well except for the Death Council. I will try to make fixed version of it's placement.
Hello Dave Specter, I have a question, I personally really like the Hammer Security Marauders and think it's a shame that Blizzard took the normal Marauders for Mengsk. So I wanted to ask you if you would like to and are interested in creating a Hammer Security variant for Mengsk Royal Guard?
