DaveSpectre's Assets
I do all kinds of different kitbashes and retextures.
I am currently struggling with burnout and I am learning to live in some healthy balance. That means I will not release models very often, but sometimes I will make some when I feel like it. So I guess you could consider me semi-retired ? Anyway, I am not doing any requests for the moment, until my mind is healed, which might take a long time. So please do not ask any requests of me, no exceptions (Asking for a fix if model is broken is not a problem). But I still want to do at least some models and share them with you. Hopefully you will find some of them useful :)
Stay healthy and don't forget to rest regularly ! :)
Here you can find a list of models I want to make one day (Note that there is no order to this list): Models I want to make
I would also love to continue making story maps that would include my own models (But that's probably only a dream now. I have very little time and energy for that).
And last but not least, I'd really love to do more commander concepts with videos, because people seem to love those, of course those would require additional models and lot of them. You can find the list of potential commander concepts that I currently have in mind here: List of potential Commander Concepts (on the bottom of the page).
Original credits go to Activision Blizzard and their respective authors. Most of my stuff is made from their models, textures and voicelines, which means, don't use my assets for any commercial purposes. Otherwise you are free to use my models as you want including edits. Crediting is not necessary as long as you don't claim the model as your own. For edited models, I'd like to be credited as original author.

I'm glad you do :)
Just like the good old days !!!
In reply to DaveTheSpectre:
Ha this is awesome! I loved the novel.
In reply to ksnumedia:
Glad you like it :)
I've used your Protoss female civilian model in the development of my current project. Without it my project would not be possible so super thanks! I'm sure you got some ideas of your own, but have you thought about making male variants? Cheers!
In reply to ksnumedia:
I'm glad my models are being used :)
I actually thought about it, but I don't know if it's necessary given the fact that Thrikodias made one some time ago: https://www.sc2mapster.com/projects/thrikodias-assets/files/667515 (But yeah I can understand that this one looks maybe too "uncivilized"), Alternatively I've seen some people use the Protoss Civilian Cinematic models from LOTV campaign - they have walk and stand animations (If you apply the the required .m3a file) and they are even teamcolorable. So if you don't mind the fact that they have higher quality, it should be ok.
In reply to DaveTheSpectre:
Huh I didn't actually know there were Protoss civilian models, but I am currently using Thrikodias's model. I'll definitely look into using the cinematic ones one but I probably won't have them anyway because they'll stick out weirdly. TY
In reply to ksnumedia:
Yep there are, they were walking around the Spear of Adun in some cutscenes. Maybe I will do a male civilian protoss in-game model in the future.
In reply to ksnumedia:
Also you may look at this in the meantime: https://www.sc2mapster.com/projects/vastanx-laboratory/files/2956184
In reply to DaveTheSpectre:
Oh wow I'll check this out, thanks! Won't be making killable kids tho xD
In reply to ksnumedia:
Yeah, I understand that :D Probably a reason why there is not a single kid in SC2 :D
Hooray for adding attachment points to VastanX's Troyan! I know you write that you won't fix models that are not yours... but I still hold my hopes that you one day can add attachment points to Vastanx's Pretorian xD
In reply to kabel_gossen:
Yeah that was kinda the reason why I wrote that. Because I'm aware that lot of his models are missing the attachments points and if I would have to fix them all ... (I know you only want one unit, but someone else would want another and so on ...) ... it would be painful.
Either VastanX should fix the models
Or pretty much anyone, because it really isn't difficult, it's just time consuming.
In reply to DaveTheSpectre:
I understand, no worries, thanks for everything you do!
In reply to kabel_gossen:
I thank you :)
Another one of those instances where Dave makes a perfect product...
despite the fact that he actually doesn't want to do requests.
