"Originally created by Kel-morian combine, this robotic worker was designed to gather resources just like SCV (Space Construction Vehicle) with the bonus of being able to mine from asteroids, because it's jets allowed it to fly both in atmosphere and in space. Another advantage of this bot is that it is fully automated protecting people from risk and leaving them for other jobs. Not long after, most of Terran factions started using these bots as well. They became especially popular for organizations who simply don't have enough people to just let them sit in SCV's - for example Tosh's goons."

Ingame units can move up and down the cliffs and over units, structures & obstacles (Basically making them having a movement of air units, but targetable by anti-ground, not anti-air). They are also equiped with laser welder/cutter allowing them to repair twice as fast as normal SCV's and also deal 60% more base dmg. Requires 0 supply.
