Abathur: "Singe Ultralisk specimen left from the Nafash Brood on Kaldir. Feeding on Ursadon. Many extremophilic bacteria accumulated. Bacteria produce large ammount of energy. Ultralisk adapted. Evolved electromagnetic glands. Can disable enemy technology. Decimates Protoss patrols. Useful adaptation. Incorporating sequences into the Swarm."

Storm Ultralisk is evolutionary strain evolved on planed Kaldir. A single Ultralisk left there by Broodmother Nafash has evolved into dangerous form that can disable enemy vehicles and weapons. After being discovered by Abathur, it's essence was applied on multiple  Swarm Ultralisks and bacame part of Swarm's Kaldir brood. Some of these Ultralisks were also used in the battle of Augustgard.
