Aiur Close Combat v.2.0

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of StarCraft II. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Aiur Close Cobat has finally become a 2v2 melee map, hosting new units, U.E.D. bases, zerg waves and more. Upon the feilds of Aiur, stands Two Bases, Two hive minds locked in epic battle after the loss of aiur. New swarms have been incorparated, such as mantalings, made for dealing other zerg threats. At the start of the zerg base, stands the old drones, overlods, and hatcheries, but soon borglings will become available, small, fast zerglings. From the deep caverns of aiur, underground beetles where forged into the fires of the swarm, creating lavalings, that can spit acid, or fire at their foes, casuing them to burn, or to become weak and unable to act. Once the swarm has gained a stabalised economy, hiveminds can be constructed at a base to improve production, scouting and defences. After the hatchery has been build upon, acidic caverns are errupted to allow borglings to morph into sporelings, a weaker baneling that contains broodlings ready for when they explode. Spires can be constructed to allow for new strains of flyers. An example of these flyers are the Cloudlings, weak hunters that are most effective scouting, or used to deal alot of damage in short bursts, but costy to mass produce. Mantalings maybe small, but can resist lots of damage and firepower, allowing them to carry on the fight. They can also fire fungus upon targets to hold them into place. Once air technologie is reached, the lair can be mirphed to allow for the strongest minds in the zerg army, Sludgelings. Once hive tech is reached, spellcasters known as hive minds are available, and allow for slowing and blocking the movement of foes, and can mind control an enemy unit, use this to distrupt foes. Lastly, From the depths of the jungle, new Omegalisks have been genetically modified to crush and destroy foes, like no ultralisk has done before. The Zerg Swarm now Hosts an aray of leaders, one for each of the major casts, Lavalords, Cloudlords, and Mantalords. Lavalords are like mega-sized lavalings that fire explosive bolts of fire to desstroy groups of enemy units. Cloudlords are stealthy hit and run units, can only be seen by a few things, and can use a "far reach" spell to snipe foes quick and easy. Mantalords are like gigantic mantalings, slower but much greater in durability and size, as well as concealing your army, making them turn invisible. Each unit can be used to wage war in this fast pace melee map. you can follow this project on Battle.net, or on my youtube account at: http://www.youtube.com/user/IceHarmony?feature=mhee Also, For those that haven't played, the map has swung back and forth a lot, from meleee 3v3 on a small map, or that sdame ma as a 2v2 with waves, back to a 1v1 on the small map and then onto a that same small map but with the waves again. The waves are simple, your team spawns a few units, and their team spawns those same units. If you help deafeat the waves with your basic melee units( the ones nameed above like the lavaling) then your waves will push further onto winning. (by attacking a players base just like in melee)
