I understand the basics of using variables in triggers, but I'm struggling to find how some projects like Empire Builder, Galactic Empires and etc... use a unit property like Energy and turn it into income. Because for the game I am doing, I want to make it instead of a unit providing a set amount of income, I'd much rather have it that a population determines it so I can make upgrades for it, and it'd be more realistic.
Even when I try to reverse engineer old projects, I'm finding myself lost in seeing how they work. If anyone could help me with this, I'd really appreciate it!

I'm trying to accomplish something like this so players can name things they select and type a command something sort of like...
Process:
*Player sees a planet they want to rename or give a label*
*Player types: -name (blahblahblah)*
And is it possible for a player to name themselves ingame? Cause I wonder if that would be possible for it to update on a leaderboard
So they could do something like -namecountry (Empire of Man) just as a neat little feature

Wow I've got to be an idiot, thanks! After configuring it a bit I got it to work!
