Very simple question, how can i change announcers using Triggers? I made some Player Attributes and I know i have to use "If--Then-Else" in the triggers, but what should i do next? what do i put in the "Then" option?
I want to create a mod with some custom announcers: I've created the attributes to select the custom announcer, and put the " If (value Announcer for player 1) == CustomAnnouncer1 " in the Trigger section, but I don't know wich command for the "then" is the appropiate, i thought something like "replace Sound" or something like that? I'm quite new in the editor, so i'm not aware of all the features, if someone could tell me what command should i use? i would be really grateful.
Hello! I'm quite new in the SC2 Editor and I need some help with all the tools; I want to know how can i edit the Lobby options just like the race selection, for example, an option for the players to select a custom announcer, or a skin pack for their units. I've already created some audio files and custom models, but if i replace them in the Data editor, only the default skins are replaced, same with the announcers. So is there any good tutorial for me to learn how to create this options? For any help given, thank you so much!
I made a custom Dark Templar Skin, but as you may know, there are 2 variants of Dark Templar, but in the "Art: Model" section of the data editor you can only put one model, and if you do it when you try to place a Dark Templar, an error displays and the model is not loaded, so, how can I replace one of the models with another? I don't care if the other model remains, please help
Hello, I made up some custom skins and created a mod by replacing the Models in the Data editor, but when i tested with some friends I realized my skins only replace the default skins how can I make the skins to replace skins, even if other are selected? also if there is a way to select if i want to use the Mod skins or the default skins in the Lobby
I recently decided to make a capture flag mod, but I don't know much about Mod development, and Youtube tutorials doesn't help much in that aspect, I know how to edit data and all, how the units are made and how to change their stats, but I don't even know how to start this "Capture Flag", any tutorial or advice? or even a first step you could give me?
Simple question, when players are in game, how can i display a text when the mouse pointer is over a unit? I tried in the indicators in the data editor and deselect the option "not display description" but when i test it all that shows is something for example /units/melee/neutral/example. How can i display a description and where can i write the text that will display?
Hello, I'm making a Melee map with the dependence "Void (Mod)" the problem is that I want some units from the campaigns to add without change the dependence. If i add new dependences the units will change in the game itself, for exampl: I loaded the "Liberty( campaign)" dependence and that altered the races in the game, the terran could produce vultures, firebats, etc... this even created conflict with Void units (2 units in the same slot or things like that). So, how can I export specific data from units to another map without having to change the dependencies?
