I'm using using them for many reasons, but I only know a few of them. Yet, only the veterans of the editor would know.
When I create an actor within the actor, I can change its scale, tint, etc from the very same actor that creates it, and for that I use the Target box, and type the ID name of the Actor that was created. If I want to modify the actor's portrait and send it events, I type ::PortraitGameSelf
This ::PortraitGameSelf is a code. I want those codes. What is the one for an attach model, or death actor, or build actor. How can I know those target codes that are known by heart or unknown?
It has none, but it's just the way the map is made, it is so perfectly balanced as hard to easy, corners are tough, some places are strategic... it changes the pace of all of the straight circular maps from sc2
Look at the attached picture... it's exactly a trigger right there. And it's not working, that's the point of this post. The trigger seems broken or uneffective. Thanks still for suggesting an idea :p
I'm new to this, but unless I skipped a detail, black mask in the triggers doesn't apply to any maps that I try to use it for. My goal here is not to modify the black mask option from within the map, but from within my own mod.
What's even more annoying, is that the one that disables gray mask, DOES WORK, im clueless about why this one doesn't impose itself on the map's settings.
I totally second this, was my favorite map as well. This post is from years ago lol, but I still think it's possible today. Well if anyone got the guts for it !

AI used to be agressive, and expand at more than 1 expand ressource base. How do you guys fix this? I'm new to this.

I see this post was created in 2011... is there still a strong mentor for data/triggers SCII laying around? I feel like I'm too late here :s
