    found a blank button to use for secret achievement but it still shows the border on hover, so how do I get rid of the border? it has no text inside of it, not even a space, but it still shows a long skinny border when u have mouse hovering on it. otherwise the button works as a secret. ruins the whole thing if u can find the secret by just hovering. 

     

    oh and the blank button was default in the game I didn't have to do anything so u would think if they went through the trouble of creating a blank button they would make it completely blank lol.

     thanks yeah i wasn't sure what all I needed to be able to use all the warcraft stuff so I just used them all lol. i fixed it by setting to zerg instead of random, but will def see if I can get rid of some of the dependencies too. [SOLVED]

    posted a message on super weird glitches.

    EDIT: now the hydra stopped dying and I changed nothing lol it just randomly started working the last 5 times I have tested it.

    EDIT 2: and now it wont let me press Q to select a unit when using a trigger.

     

    im guessing my problem is i have lots of dependencies so I can use warcraft and starcraft stuff, but im not sure. i will give a few examples of what is happening. also I set it up as a custom map and now im thinking I should have set it to a dependant map, but not sure if I can change that.

     

    1. one time all I did was open my map and the water no longer animated. took forever to realize it auto reverted everything back to default under edit water, not too bad, all I had to do was change all the settings back and didn't take too longer cause its just some basic water. btw it was the 4th time I had opened my map on day 4 of working on it so all previous times it didn't auto change shit.

     

    2. miners had no problems mining, but now when I use the upgrade I set up to increase their speed they stop mining and if I try to return cargo manually it says cant find drop off building. only thing that changed was upgrading the speed. it too had no problems until like the 7th day of working on my map and I didn't even edit the probe or nexus that day. the miners had no problems with 0 upgrades and max upgrades but now randomly between the 1-10 speed upgrades they glitch. their speed starts at 1 and increases 1 so the max speed is 11.

     

    3. constantly tells me errors with stuff I have never even seen or heard, like one time it told me a sound couldn't be played and I have never messed with the sound editor part. and so much other random stuff.

     

    4. wont let me do simple things sometimes like make a neutral flame turret not damage another neutral unit like a hydra. 1 they are already set to same team. 2 since it didn't work i changed some settings to not attack neutral hostile and they are both neutral hostiles. 3. set it to not attack mechanical since it itself and the hydra are both naturally mechanical without me changing anything, it of course doesn't damage the other turrets but it keeps killing the hydra. they are all mechanical, neutral hostile, and player 15 but yet the turrets kill the hydra while not killing the other turrets. not sure if it matters but the flame turrets are always attacking and the hydra is set to wander so it is killing itself by walking into the flames.

     

    5. there are so many random ones and i don't want this to be a long read, basically do i need to change, add, remove any dependencies or anything? pic has all the ones im using that it said i could use, mainly it wouldn't let me use heart of the swarm.

     lol yeah that was a super easy fix. the dude in the video had it the way I posted and a few people even commented and none of the comments said anything about not working lol. my guess is the editor has changed since then or something. thanks, you are super mega awesome to tha max.

    copied a tutorial video on how to make a bank precisely as it said and when I try to save I get the message Warning: Using 'Picked Integer' outside of 'PickEachInteger'.

     

    only thing that fixes the problem is when I delete the 2 actions in the picture below which is pointless cause i don't know how to make the rest of it all work without those 2 triggers.

     

    if no one can help me figure it out then perhaps someone can give me an updated correct tutorial.

    i have an upgrade u can buy 160 times that adds +1 movement.

    movement speed is capped at 160, but not really noticing a difference after a few upgrades. i figured 80 would be half as fast as 160 but its not.

    how can I set this up?

     

    im also having a similar problem with attack speed. i want it to take like 100 upgrades to get down to fastest attack speed at 0.16

     thanks for the help. for adding info like damage, attack speed, etc. the unit pewpew already attacks so figured it had a weapon. by default its the type of unit that displays nothing but its name unlike say a marine will show all info about attack, defense, movespeed, attack speed, health, etc etc.  i will try to add a weapon to it but doubt that will make it show its defense and other stuff. i just want it to display all of its info on click just like a marine or any other unit that attacks does.

    nevermind i fixed it, but leaving it up in case someone else runs into this random problem.

     

    it reset some of my settings like flow rate, texture roughness, etc. so just had to change it all back. sucks cause I didn't have my hours worth of working on it memorized so I just had to get it as close as I could to the original. btw, it wasn't nothing I did, I saved, exited out of editor, and went to sleep. first time opening editor next day I noticed water wasn't moving. unless when I hit control S to save, I also hit a random button.

    i have set to random when i test my map, everything is the same when race is from sc2, but everytime it randomly picks a warcraft one it will change random stuff. for example, it has changed supply, starting minerals, info when u click on a building, etc.

    water no long animates in game or in editor. i have tested it several times and still doesn't work like it did when I was making the water. I'm not talking about pressing W to show water or not, I mean the water just sits there and doesn't animate.

    1. not sure what its called, but for example, on my nexus, I changed everything except I cant find out how to change/remove the nexus image at the bottom when you click on the building? I'm using art that cant be placed on the map, only changed as an art model, so I must use nexus or another building.
