May i ask you to make a tutorial video about it please? i tried all i could and it did not work at all. All i want at this point is to see this actor function working properly without any error messages.
I believe you can make it work in the hardcore way: creating "vision units" by a Create Persistent effect in the specific locations (offsets) you desire, they would probably need a timed life behavior. Something like this should work, but if you are making a game where u have multiple units per player it would probably lag really hard ...
Is it possible for a Button to show data about the unit that uses the Button? I would need it for supply icon, it would display how much supply does the unit provide, i could put it on Supply depos and Command Centers and other supply providers.
(I know it is possible to use the specific unit's supply, but im curius if there is a way to use 1 button for multiple units)
Well, i didn't really understand it, but if i get it correctly, you need to make it more difficult than a simple validator check. I think you need a search for slaves, issue order for slaves, a new ability for slaves, and use the normal caster validator on the slaves' new ability.
If you could share some images about it or something that could help (with red arrows and stuff to make things obvious).
At the Effect (or the Actor) you find something Visual it can be Spotlight/Visisble/Hidden, i believe if you change that to visible that should fix this issue, but also it could reveal the unit while shooting, im not sure.
Thats simple, you can find a thing called Variants in the model, change that number to 1, and then change the model (m3 file) to your model file.

Fear not fellow SC2mapster member, it was quite difficult to make it work, but i have the solution you requested!
Description: the Behavior does not do much on its own. you need to go to the Triggers, you will find the actual "passive ability" of yours.

Edit: you can just launch the map to see it in action for yourself, Triggers are setup ready for testing.

offline: go to triggers put the players to teams.
