Mission 22 has been changed to release status:

I have uploaded a new version that fixes a lot of the main issues that's been found.

    • Fixed an issue causing the allied forces in Part II of the mission to occassionally bug out upon reaching the middle.
    • Added two new dialogue lines to the intro cinematic and final cinematic that better relates to previous and upcoming missions.
    • Fixed an issue causing Crowley's Experimental Fighter crash doodad to be visible prior to him actually crashing.
    • The Daggerfang Zerg no longer send Swarm Hosts during Part II of the mission.
    • During Part II of the mission, if the player successfully prevents the enemy from rebuilding a Nexus, and they continue to have 0 Nexii for 2,5 minutes, the player is automatically victorious.

    Quick Note:

There is currently a huge bug with Ultra-Capacitors where Blizz somehow changed it so the upgrade gives 50% additional attack speed per upgrade instead of 5%. This bug has unfortunately not only hit Blizzard maps, but also custom ones, as well.

Until Blizz fixes this, I highly recommend people to NOT play any mission of Annihilation where you face off against Terran. If you don't wanna get smoked, that is. :P

That's honestly one of the best things about starting a new map; gathering ideas and trying to conceptualize how I can make the terrain for this map both cool and unique. Once an idea is in my head, my brain just goes crazy :D

    Mission 23 Teaser:

Progress on Mission 23 is going well, and the terrain is about halfway done, so I figure I'd show off a little teaser, without revealing too much.

This might be the first time in a while where I can release a mission without a 3-4 month gap between them. Stay tuned for any new updates!

Thanks to PowercoreX64, I have released an emergency update to the mission that fixes a bug that causes you heroes to become Invulnerable during the second portion of the map.

It's funny how I always have to release a mission with apparent bugs like these, and never notice them myself. I suppose that's why I was always doing so well in the second portion of the map, and never losing my heroes XD

Expecting a release of Mission 22 in roughly 2-3 weeks. I have minor gameplay parts left to program and some balance-testing to do.

Triggering is around 30% completed, and following that, It's done. I'd expect maybe a month. But honestly, I hate making estimations, since I'm always wrong XD

Terrain showcase video - Live now!

With its terrainining completely finished, here's a teaser of what will be coming in Annihilation's next installment: "The United Forces"

I apologize for some of the framy clips. My computer apparently couldn't handle it, but I've reduced it as much as I could.

    A quick update:

Because of some computer issues, I was forced to reinstall everything, so haven't had editor available. But now, everything's fixed and I will continue development of the next mission.

Terrain is just about 60% done. Once it's finished, I'll make a short terraining showcase video as I've done before.

It's actually insane to see how much lack of StarCraft 2 content there is for you to do. Hard to believe you've played pretty much everything there is. Time goes by so fast.

I should probably point out that 30 minute is the total in the map, not the length of an individual cutscene, but yeah in some maps there is at least 30 minutes of cutscenes.

    Sorry dude :P

Mission 21 has now been reuploaded and changed to a "Released" state.

I've made a couple changes to reduce the overall length of the second part of the map, and with it, i've also fixed some other issues people have pointed out.

Patch notes for the updated mission:

    • Spectres and Goliaths now have 2.25 movement speed.
    • Units and Heroes now passively gain 60% increased movement speed when out of combat for 5 seconds. This buff is only active during Part II of the mission.
    • Removed outlines from units behind objects in certain cinematic shots.
    • During Part II, if a door is opened, the area around the door will be revealed for 2 seconds, allowing players to catch a glimpse of where the door is, and also view the opened door through the fog of war.
    • The Guard Housing units stationed around the map are no longer viewable on the minimap.
    • Fixed a few typos.
    • Changed the angle of one of the framy cutscenes, reducing some of the lag.
    • Doors are now visible on the minimap.
    • Reduced the duration of the "Start" transmission from The Silent Hunter.

Cool to see you actually managed to enjoy your time during the Zerg missions more :)
Yeah, there's definitely a lot more story development from Mission 16 onwards, so you'll have to deal with a ton of cutscenes, and some really long ones too. Hope you find some of the stuff interesting, tho.
