As a side note, these forums are nearly unused these days, so I highly recommend joining the Discord server to ask questions, as that's where most SC2 mapmakers hang out.
You can use Patreon to indirectly monetize your SC2 mapmaking work. And I say "indirectly" because Blizzard does not allow you to offer any in-game benefits to paying users (Read about it here: Custom Game Acceptable Use Policy). But it's not an alternative to SC2 Mapster in the sense that hosting your projects on Patreon is not likely to reach a big audience.
The WC3 data has been in the SC2 editor since 2015. StarCraft II has been on life support for years now, so it's very unlikely we'll get any major updates in the future.
I'm leading a team of mapmakers who are recreating the WC3 campaign in SC2, which is quite an ambitious and time-consuming project. So far two campaigns are out. Trailer here:
I believe some WC3 ladder maps are available in the SC2 Arcade, but I haven't looked into it as it's not something that interests me.
When I try to publish a map I've edited that uses the LotV Prologue dependency, I get this error: "Document dependency does not specify a Blizzard file (Mods\VoidPrologue.SC2Mod)". Is there a way to publish maps with this dependency? If not, is there a workaround I might use?
Hi! I've just finished a project I've been working on for some time: Wings of Liberty Protoss Edition. As you might have guessed, it's a modification of WoL in which you play as the protoss, complete with unit variants, Spear of Adun abilities and voice lines from Legacy of the Void.
It's available to play on the arcade. All maps are currently on the Americas and the Europe regions.
I began this having never used the editor before, so I wasn't able to implement several things that I wanted to, such as a reward system for bonus objectives and a choosing system for unit variants and Spear of Adun abilities.
I'm still interested in this. I figured out you can delete the text "Mission reward:" via the Text Editor, but I haven't figured out how to remove the number. Any ideas?
I'm editing an official WoL map, and when adding LotV dependencies the lighting gets too bright. Haven't had this problem with other maps. Any ideas what might be the problem?
Is there any way to remove elements from the official campaign's victory pannel when editing them? For example, I'd like to remove the "Mission Reward" part that you can see in the image.
I'm new to the editor (started around a week ago) and I was told that in order to upgrade units between maps, like in WoL and LotV, I'd need to use banks, which I have no experience with. How complicated would it be to set up banks for what I want to achieve? Is there some sort of guide that I might find useful?

That action has been broken for a long time now. Here's a Discord message explaning the two ways to switch console skins.

If you want to simply change the default console, go to the Data module --> Races tab --> select a race --> change the Default Console Skin field.
If you want to change console skins dynamically, try this: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/743957603583000627/845421175390863370/Console_Switcher.SC2Map
It basically switches the player's race back and forth to refresh the UI, then applies a custom commander to them which has a console skin set up.

Do this for each of the battlecruiser's weapons:
* Change its Arc to 360.
* Set its Allowed Movement to Moving.
* In the Options field, uncheck Only Fire At Attack Target and Only Fire While Attacking.
So you were definitely on the right track; you were just missing the Options field. Hope this helps!
