As you're all aware, the Battle.net WCS will be replacing this year's BlizzCon. With this in mind, Blizzard hooked up various fansites with some tickets to the big championship event in Shanghai, China, and we'd like to send you there! In the announcement comments, let us know what your favorite Melee Map is and why. Keep in mind, there are only a few tickets to go around, so please make sure you'll be able to attend! The event will be taking place on November 17th and 18th and will host both the SC2 and WoW championships.

I had seen it, I just wasn't sure I wanted them to draw more attention than they were already garnering. Regardless, I voiced them, we'll see how it goes.

But it's not dead, like someone said earlier, it was just renamed and moved to another site. The new project is still on page 1.

Technically critters are in ladder games, just as neutral units... I want to be a neutral critter... This is because it won't be a major character and I can't get in trouble for forgetting to check the thread, :). Which neutral critter, I'm not exactly sure just yet, anyone have any issues? If not, I'll go ahead and write up a mini-profile. I think it could add a new, fun aspect to the story that you guys haven't thought of, :D.

Look at the mineral count of the players, they are recieving more minerals than you should be and are able to share those minerals with each other. They are destroying their probes, most likely using a hotkey to respawn their drone + mineral count ... no dialogs are shown on their screens so I presume without looking at the code it is that ... however - even if I wanted to waste my time searching the source code for the problem, and even if I found it, it would not mean jack shit mate because I can't fix it (edit their map) nor can I even publish a new version of Desert Strike that can compete against the current system.

Yeah, I've seen that rumor all over the place, although that's all it is, a rumor.

Oh, so I mean, there are conferences and tournaments Blizzard will be attending, yes, but there are no press tours at BlizzHQ this month other than the Mists one, ;). It's possible we will hear more information, yes, but I wouldn't exactly count on it. Who knows, maybe we'll get a D3 announce date at CeBIT, but.. Who knows.

Nope but there is a D3 Press on March 5 or 6, probably that ones release date, and just a Guess, 2 months after D3 comes out, HoTS will start its beta, so expect HoTs by around august, July earliest.
