    Nvm I stored the amount being processed into a Variable of its own to separate it from the confusion and instead of getting me closer to a solution it completely fixed it. Thnx for the help.

    Ok now im getting 975.

    Honestly after tones of tweaking the initial kill variable is set to exaclty what im after and thats the score of units killed MINUS the input of other features on the map that effect the players score as you can see in the first trigger. The problem is in the second trigger below as it is currently set to divide by 20 which should equal 80% of the value but instead just returned 975 when I activated the trigger with 2000 points.

    If you think my actual Kill = Kill score is wrong then see for yourself and tell me.

    Zifoon I think you understood pretty clearly, I did not realize I had to convert player value of units killed to real, I will try and return.

    Masterdinadan I do not think you noticed the value is negative not positive. That Kills is also a Variable that is set to what ever Player score is with a few tweaks actions to make sure the two are equal.

    God I cant figure it out. This is my Action atm. Its actualy going negative, from a total of 2000 points it will work out to -17600.

    Modify Kills[1]: - ((Player 1 Point Value of Units Killed / 100) x 20

    I also tried just dividing by 0.2 but it seems you cannot go below 1.0 instead it changes to -1,-2.

    Im trying to get this % figure out because if i start by using a set figure then as the game goes on what this trigger is involved in's actual value will be too small and exploited. Or if i make the value to high it will be too great early. Must be %.

    posted a message on Lobby teams don't match map team definitions

    I am currently testing a way to fix this massive issue that's flying about and I think i may have found a solution but i have to reconfigure the hole map to test it out which may take a bit, the fix involves setting Player 1 to 1 yes ok now Player 2 will be 5 instead of 2 and then player 3 will be 3, player 4 = 6.

    This system Is the best i can come up with as a workaround for the massive issue affecting makers atm, but sadly it is just for 2 teams, However maybe you can take the idea and see if it can be applied to more then 2 teams, Im sure it could be.

    Attempted Closing slots not being used inbetween players in the (Player)Controller Varriants Attributes and it was as if i did nothing, the players just slotted into those closed slots as if i had done nothing.

    Hi I cannot continue my map because of this leaderboard!!

    I wanted just a simple Leaderboard setup like;
    PLAYER     SCORE
    Player1     0(custom resource)
    Player2     0
    Player3     0
    Player4     0

    I can get the Leaderboard to be created and look like this but the nothing ever changes, the values just sit on 0.

    My triggers;
    "Leaderboard - Create Leaderboard"
    "Leaderboard - Set player 1"
    "Leaderboard - set player 2"
    "Leaderboard - set player 3"
    "Leaderboard - set player 4"
    "Leaderboard - set item text to (text((player 1 custom resource collected)))"
    "Leaderboard - set item text to (text((player 2 custom resource collected)))"
    "Leaderboard - set item text to (text((player 3 custom resource collected)))"
    "Leaderboard - set item text to (text((player 4 custom resource collected)))"

    I also tried this trigger;
    "Unit Dies"
    "Owner of killing unit == player1"
    "Leaderboard - set item text to (text((player 1 custom resource collected)))"

    No go, I'm being bullied by a Leaderboard, I feel sad.

    So far I have created an Array of every unit involved in the scoring proccess, and am using 1 trigger to identify a marine being killed and using the array table to give apropriate score to player.

    A problem has arrived because I am trying to limit triggers that I will have to create by using 1 trigger per unit, instead of 1 trigger per player then per unit. The resource to use is now the issue as what ressource can i use instead of Gas,Minerals & Variables.

    I've taken advise to look around at other maps for the code i require but after looking at over 100 maps I have found that nobody is using the Unit scores to process in game play instead using the imbalanced system of referring any unit dieing as 1 point which is clearly....imbalanced.

    To say killing a marine is worth 1 point is fair but when killing a battlecruiser is also worth 1 point well that's just bizarre.

    If anybody knows how to access the Unit score threw triggers i would appreciate a response and I would think the Evolves map makers would too as they clearly don't get the purpose of balance.

    Thank you, I found what you are referring to and i now at least have the actual score so i can build a realistic model score system of my own but to be honest creating 30 triggers just to give score seems a bit much.

    To elaborate further how would I call on that score sheet number and say: when player reaches 10,000 points grant "anything".

    Hey Sc2mapster community, this will be my first post of many hopefully as i really enjoy making my own games but don't venture much further then pretty simple conquests.

    First of my maps I have started working on is a Micro Arena map and i thought i could just stumble threw the process building it bit by bit till its done but a small problem seems to be inhibiting further work and that's Unit scores(when you kill a unit you receive a score for the end game screen).

    Is this system of scoring still capable of being used in the editor as i cannot find the trigger to get the integer out.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    P.S. For ones opinion did you prefer Nexus Destroyers buying units system where you purchase packs of units onto the arena or Uberenas system where you buy units individually and then deploy that group onto the arena.
