    you can use Texture Select By ID like Jack said or just change the image file to one a doodad is already using and import in in the file path Assets/Textures and it will overwrite it and replace that doodad....

    The texture select isnt hard to do but you will need to be walked thur it for sure.

    posted a message on Creating Abilities for a Player

    You can have a unit for each player created at start which is invulnerable and invisible. Give this unit all the abilities you want, then when you click whatever key you assign you first save what unit they are selecting at the moment, and then select the hidden unit. they can then use the command card on the hidden unit to the the abilities. *Note if the abilities need to be ranged you just have to move the hidden unit to the unit they had selected but first check that the unit was owner by the correct player..... if the ability isn't ranged controlled like scanner for instance just make sure the ability has the max range. after using the ability have a trigger select the unit you saved.

    This could also be done smoother and better with a custom dialog that is linked to existing data in game. Kinda like this http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/upgrade-dialog/

    I have actually done this in maps so both ways work...

    Can you just do a simple floating rotating box like the other power up I put a pic of. And a texture where I could edit it to show a small icon in the middle??

    yeah :( I added a model of just the spectres feet, tinted them red and added a red version of the mineral field glow to them so you know their are bad. But people playing on low said they cant even see the red glow. :(

    Something based on the health or energy pickups would work as long as they stood out as different

    There are power ups that increase your over all energy, increase your speed, make the next 4 blocks you run over fall, increase your energy regen.

    Power ups I have good models for already increase your push skill, increase the damage of the bomb, refill your energy, Decrease your speed.

    I made a custom Texture for the Health kit model so it doesn't look like health anymore.

    I was wondering if you would be kind enough to make a few simple Power-up models for my newest map, GridFall.

    I understand if you are busy.

    I am using one of your models as the unit you control as you run around the grid trying to push people off the grid while avoiding falling into the holes people keep creating.

    I can't remember... did I ever mention the Cops will have three "weapons" Handcuffs (melee) Taser (Short Range) and then Gun (Long Range)
