I didn't NEED research. I PLAYED it. I didn't mess around as much with BNet 2.0 yet, but I absolutely loved 1.0.
There was just so much you could do with 1.0. You didn't need to find someone to chat with them, just do /w and you're talking to them. It was just so simple...
Wraith, not having any information to back up your argument can work, but doesn't here. Would you like to meet up on WC3 or SC1 to find out some of the nice things you can do (erm, USED to be able to do...) on Bnet?
(All this talk about WC3.....I'll go play it now.. =D )
C'mon, I remember playing on SC1's BNet (which is extremely similar to WC3's), and I can tell you that BNet 2.0 is regressive.
Seriously, the biggest downfall was the 25 friend max. That's seriously one of my biggest problems with it. (That and if someone makes a second account they now take up 2 "friend slots" out of your 25, but you still have to find out the new name. Yeah, 2 biggest problems right there...)
Wraith, I preferred the older BNet. Newer doesn't mean better. It may have been old to you, but I hate how now you have to hit tab to get to talk to someone. In WC3 you can just go "/w randomname blahblahblah" and you can talk to anyone without having to find their stupid name first. Plus, there couldn't be 20 people with the same name as you.
I know crap about SC2 mapping and think that's absurd that it should be impossible. I've seen plenty of maps where it looked like someone tweaked 2 details and uploaded it as theirs.
Get enough Broodlords or Banelings and the Marines become a bloody carpet.... literally.
There are other ways, just can't think of them at the moment.
Anyway, I think we've established that it looks like a flyer but....is it just me....or does it kinda look like a "scythe arms of an ultralisk"-shaped thing?
So drunk that apparently he got 17 messages. He must've been hung over when he posted because the only context is that he has 17 messages and was drunk. What, the norm for him is 1-2 messages? We've no idea......so we must now make it up! :P
You are an evil man. I don't think anyone's computer would like that -.- (Unless they can run 2 copies of SC2 at the same time, with both having Max-Ultra settings on....and still window-swap between the two without trying. Basically a supercomputer, but it STILL probably wouldn't handle it well...)
Nyan me now.
No! I meant to say "Kill nyan now"!
NOOO- *record scratch, 2 second pause* -YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
But...but...but...
You mean map marketplace thing...?
But....that doesn't come out for like.....a year.....or 3.....
Comes out around HotS or something.....

BNet 1.0 >>> BNet 2.0

I don't know if they actually are, but I saw a story that it's more than just Wikipedia and Reddit. Lemmie find the link...

If you can get Curse on board to join by then, by all means, they should. SC2 mapster could even if Curse isn't going to.

I think it'd be cool but also think pure movie would make a bit more sense :/
Worth watching how it progresses though....

Lookin' great! You should hide the control group thing though. Not disable entirely, just hide. It looks a little tacky there :/ (Imo)
Any chance of inter-server testing? :P

That would actually be kinda impressive, but why send 17 texts to your own voicemail? Just text yourself...

Did the project stall? Haven't seen any change or heard anything new....

Did it stall or something...? Been a while since we've heard anything....
