Didn't seem it sometimes, and it only duplicated what was sent to the other lane instead of it only coming for you. (Would be nice if you could -debug with 2 people, each sending stuff at themselves. Ways to remove income/downgrade sender would've been good too, so you could be like you were from a fresh game each time. With auras buffing stuff sent to you as well would've been cool. Ah well, I digress...)

I wish you the best of luck anyone has ever had on exams, as well as for them to be short, concise, simple, and for them to be over shortly. Not to mention complete jokes because they're so easy. (I've heard of some like that before.) Anyway, yeah, focus on exams until they're over, so long-term development is more likely. :) (Beta versions only last so long, normal versions only last so long too. New stuff is kinda what keeps it alive.)

Aww man, you got my hopes up for a epic sounding map...and then smash my hopes of it being soon. -.- Whatever...

Still, around 28% done doesn't sound too bad either. With recycling of a few things I think I could guess more along the lines of 30-40% done, which I guess doesn't sound TOO bad....

Rush it, but don't rush it? :)

Well, 80% sounds great. We can save warlords, do we get multiple files, or just one? And also, the three "acts", can saved warlord be used in, say, act 1, save in act 1, be used in act 2, save in act 2, then used in act 1? Or even used in act 1, saved in act 1, then loaded in act 3...would that work?

Not sure, what you mean. The model is available for everyone. Just in the normal ladder game, the CE thors are restricted to people buying the CE; in the editor or in custom maps, everyone can "get" them.

PS: Will the map be able to have AIs? The ability to set their difficulty? Anything like that at all? Or if there is AI support, they all act the same way, of course some differentiation for the different heroes, but still, would they act excruciatingly similar? Implementing bots, especially challenging ones, is extremely difficult. I am sure I will try it at some point, but the first release will most likely not utilize bots.

So say, player A has CE and player B doesn't. Is it possible to give A and B the CE Thor? If yes, what about player A having normal Thor, with player B having CE Thor? Finally, can player A or B have both normal and CE Thor at the same time?

Shame. Well, as long as they come out at some point, I guess it's all right. :)

PS: Oh! Completely forgot...what about -debug? You had it in HLW RoC, can that work here too? (Instead of typing -wave # like then, can we instead receive whatever creeps/mercs we send? Like, say I send a bunch of Zerglings, instead of them going to the other lanes like it did in HLWRoC, could we receive them like the other team sent it to us? I've got other -debug questions, but I'll try not to overload you in one post.)

Shame I can't test, due to being NA. Few questions though.

Could we play alone? Or must we be with other people?

    Could there be AI warlords?

If you had to put a %done on the map, what would it be? =O

So if someone has normal version, there's no way to give them CE Thor? Hmm. Shame.

Doesn't need the "Kueken's" part, since it gives the name of the publisher Lucifer. But HLW: WoL might work.

And if the map doesn't climb the ladder much, then we've got few HLW fans on SC2. Because...well...heh...

PS: Will the map be able to have AIs? The ability to set their difficulty? Anything like that at all? Or if there is AI support, they all act the same way, of course some differentiation for the different heroes, but still, would they act excruciatingly similar?

    HLW or HLW SC2.

Is CE Thor something you can put in editor? Or do you have CE too? =D

Anyway, loving what I see, but I'd prefer playing. :( Which is not to say rush it. And if you do Blizz's "It's done when it's done" please don't make us go "Hell, it's about time."

Thought: For shrines if/when you put them in, perhaps instead of "shrine" they're some Xel'Naga thing. And while I didn't mention it, I'd love to beta/give thoughts (well, I'm doing that now, aren't I?) but I'm no good at the SC2 editor. I'll probably fidget with it a while trying to figure stuff out, but I'm not much for coding, so I'll probably not figure much out each fidgeting session. (heh)

Update as little as you like, as long as this means at laest once in a while and that the map is getting the attention you would be spending here. :)

The problem with putting a note up on the RoC page is that I doubt too many people look at the RoC page, which yeah is sad, (and sadder still that some info on the site was incorrect-like some of the creep details,) but hopefully some people who look can spread it around there. (Maybe I'll get my bot to autohost some HLW RoC, and have it say to look out for the SC2 map coming out. =D But I feel off topic now...and I've said all i wanted to say so far...so I guess I'll just post this and sound awkward when you read this line here....)

You know, if you get the game running fairly well you might have some luck in getting Husky to advertise your game like he did with a few other custom games. And this game used 2 b very popular on wc3, you know deep down inside that this game will b a big hit,but only if you let it.

"Popular"? I remember without TFT, this (at least was) an extremely popular map on RoC, it was good, well made, worked very well, didn't require TFT, and was fun. And if Husky doesn't advertise it, we should spam him until he does, or something, it deserves attention. It was great on RoC, I at one point saw a bot autohosting it on TFT (and I hosted it occasionally too) and even without updates (which is a shame you won't update it anymore) it'll probably last quite a while.

Big fan of HLW RoC (still play it sometimes). Would love to see this!

(Just for giggles...as a side project...remake HLW RoC so people can see how awesome it was? There's no feeling in the world like fighting 200-500 things with 5m+ income as a single hero...in WC3. You should play CHLW, I've had like, thousands of creeps sent on that at once...so many that theey blocked themselves and you could almost lag out just from looking at it. Anyway, I digress.)

I think HLW RoC had awesome terrain, granted it wasn't like, "I'll play this just because the terrain is awesome", but then again, I doubt there's a map like that. It worked well, it just fit. Not bad, not that it wasn't good, it was nice. Don't be insulting it yourself, it really was good.

Anyway, the best I could map in was the SC1 engine, and it'd take me a while too...but I'd love to play this/give feedback. I'm not going to say it's an awesome map before I've even played it, but I have a feeling it'll be a pwn map.

PS: I read the majority of the first post's text, skipping a few bits because I know how HLW works! lol. (Thought it was 'creeps' and not 'mercenaries', I guess same thing different name depending on who you ask.) I feel like I'm rambling again...and again...

Edit: Realized most HLW concepts and beauty wouldn't really fit into SC2, hoping I can get proven wrong. Also, I just gotta throw this out there. AR is all fun and games, until you get a hero you hate/suck at/really doesn't suit you. (Unfortunately in HLWRoC, happened to me like...all the time...) Any chance of modes like no strength, all strength, all ranged, no ranged, etc? (Thought for instead of str/agi/int: power/speed/will or maybe wit. Power: obvious; Speed: should be fairly obvious as well; Will/Wits: Intelligence is all about the strength/brilliance of your mind, aren't these just 2 more ways of saying it?)
