I have the nova campaign, so I don't know if you need to buy it to use the assets or not, but I don't think so. It all looks like it's all integrated into the normal dependencies.

Edit: One small note, I can't see that you can access the maps.

Yeah, it's already set up on the defiler MP unit.

Edit: Just checked, so is the regular defiler unit, though it doesn't have any abilities, still.

Nova assets are all in the lotv dependencies.

None of the assets have dedicated units by default, so you'll have to search for them. Defenders of man are nicknamed DOM(name) and nova units are nicknamed (name)blackops in the model section of the editor. Nova is one of the few with an actual unit, though she doesn't use a model without editing.

Most if not all the new doodads are all nicked Nova - (name).

    Hope this helps yall. :)

Seems pretty obvious to me. They expect maintenance to end tomorrow at around 11:00 PDT.

Talandar could lead an interesting story as well.

Honestly though, I really just hope they go wild and explore possibilities with this dlc campaign system and not stay super consistent with it. I'd like to see prequals, side stories that take place in parallel to other campaigns, stuff based on books, brood war content, etc. Point is, I'd like to see these types of stories explored.

I don't know what I expect to see in the future. It really depends on what happens in the aftermath of the nova campaign. I think I'd have a better idea of what to expect if they announce a second campaign.

I think the character I'd like to see most is probably abathur, not because he could carry a story, but because I think he'd make for a very interesting faction. I never thought nova could have a faction, but they've now proven she can, so I think the sky's the limit in that regard. That's what I'm hoping for.

I might've thought about it if I had a disposable income, but as it is, I'm a mapmaker with no life. :(

I think tapping into the wc3 audience would result in more donations, people who would actually buy wc4 if it existed.

Took all of your feedback into account with this update. Lots of changes to all of the missions.

I also released mission 4 along with this update. Please try it out and leave feedback. I'd also love to hear how missions 1 through 3 play now with the updates.

It seems like we're, at the very least, getting a model per unit and they claimed that they were also including new units. This means we're getting at least one model per terran military unit and at least 2 new models for the new units (2 because they said plural units, but idk how many more we're getting). If we're only counting the WOL units, that's at least 14 new models. They did show images of the "Black Ops" units from her mini-faction awhile ago, so I'm sure we're getting a model per unit, similar to the tal'darim models.

Edit: They're at least re-skinning all the units. That's what I meant by models. Though, we might also get modified models too, again, like the tal'darim units.

When players inevitably forget to save, they often feel dumb/frustrated, so they blame the mapmaker. This is why I've made it a standard to remind the player to save and to allow cutscenes to be skippable and I suggest other mapmakers make it a standard as well. :)

I think you can honestly wait to play the hybrid campaign once we release mission 3. We have a special surprise coming along with mission 3. Though, there'll be an even better surprise with mission 4. :)

posted a message on Unit repaired to full = win

    Event: Unit property (life) changes

Condition: Unit property (life percent) equals 100

    Action: Victory

Though you can also just run a timer that checks the unit's hp percent. (In fact, it's more efficient if you're okay with having a delayed reaction, the only problem is if the target that's being repaired can take damage. Sometimes it won't catch that. The above event works better if that's the case.)

Meh, I was actually thinking clearing out enemy factions in the past would mean a new enemy faction could fill the gap to replace them since they're gone in the future version.

When I said there was a chance I might do something like this, I was thinking something much more simple. This discussion you're having about switching modes at will seems far more complex than I had imagined.

The way I was thinking of handling it was that you play through a short series of missions in the past and then time travel to the future and complete each of these missions again, but with an altered setting. Some of the events that occur may also have affected other missions as well, but that all depends on how ambitious the author would want to take it. This would continue for probably one more series of missions. Something like 2-4 missions each series (multiplied by 2 since you play each level again). That was where I thought of taking it. It's a simplified version of what you guys are talking about here, but I think it'd still be fun and would still feel like you're impacting the past/future.
